You mean Rayman Revolution.
No, I mean the challenges of the magician where you have to collect all the tings.

I remember those! They were fun...in that new interview I was only half-listening to Michael because I was busy watching the RO gameplay behind him. XD

I see, but comparing Ly's challenges in trade of Familiar Spirits isn't also a bad comparasion.

That’s nonsense. The PS3 and Mac versions of BioShock were released a full year after the Xbox 360 and PC versions, and they still sold. Do you really think the average consumer is going to reject a game purely because it came out a few months ago on a different platform? Would you?

What’s ‘sad’ about it? It would be great and I would certainly buy it.

+1

And Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee and Stranger's Wrath were Xbox exclusive. And 9 years later Oddworld Inhabitants released them for the PC. Thank god they decided to do it.

Why not?! It just goes to show you how much this game is great, and it makes the game more accessible. My best example is me, because I'm right now downloading R2 onto my newly bought iPod Touch (which I got an hour ago)!

I suppose you're correct. I have Rayman 2 for my 3DS, Rayman 2 (Revolution) for my PS2 and I used to have a PC version (The game crashed :mefiant:). Also, doesn't Rayman 1 basically have more ports? Atari Jaguar, PSX, PC, GBA, DSi/3DS, PS3, Windows Mobile, Nokia, Pocket PC and Palm OS. Then you had the remakes: Rayman Gold, Rayman Forever, and the 60 level collection that was only released in France. There also were the spin-offs: Rayman junior, Rayman Activity Centre and Rayman (GBC). These were also great game. Perhaps remakes aren't that bad. I wish they started porting Rayman 3.

I wonder if they ever will make any ports of Rayman 3?
Also, here's some new gameplay of Rayman origins. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VSt11ZYB4aA
Well, I guess it isn't REALLY new, since we've seen so much jungle level gameplay.

Perhaps for a Nintendo hand-held. Rayman 1 and 2 both exist for 3DS, and I was told Rayman 3 graphics should work on a 3DS. I would refer a home console version better though.
I've seen enough of the Jungle, I wanna see Picture City!

Could Moody Clouds be a reference to the level in R3 when Globox and Rayman fly around the Tower of Leptys shooting Hoodlums?

Moody Clouds is a reference to the demo from the Atari Jaguar version. And of course, the final version of the Moskito flight.

That is more likely, but it could still be a small reference to the Tower of Leptys.

Finally they show the PlayStation 3 version (although the only difference is the X button instead of A button).

Despite of the graphics looking good, the controlling is even worse than Rayman DS in my serious opinion.

Yeah, I just tried it now... WHY IS IT SO TERRIBLE?! This is a platform game, the controls are supposed to be perfect for it to work! Oh god, Ubisoft! What have you done?! Such a monstrosity! (I am still gonna finish this version, just so you know.)

You will never make it further than the first mask! I never got past the Glade of Dreams! :grrr:

Glade of Dreams or the Fairy Glade?

I tried the iPod Touch version few months ago for around 30 minutes, and it is seriously worse than Rayman DS in terms of controlling.

Lol the part where Globox falls into the water and turns into a balloon reminds me of both Rayman M and the original Sonic (for some reason).
The one with the balloon Rayman is pure win.

So... I'm really excited about Rayman Origins. Some revealing story, all hand-drawn graphics... Globox. This will be awesome.

Oh, by the way, I read somewhere it will be released in episodes? Does this mean you have to by the different episodes every time, or do you buy one game and then get the episodes automatically without further payment?
