Actually thinking usually benefits more often than not.
That's the "one in a million" case. It also happens.
I disregard your opinion out of rage.

That doesn't allow you to say no for her.Firstly because it was a REALLY RUDE answer. And secondly because the Magician will have voice act, besides songs or not.I personally don't think musical numbers would be a good idea but if she decides to include them then I have no problem with recording for her.

And about Rayfan's REAL answer,I'll record more lines for you.Rayman 1 intro again? I'll try to put more energy and entusiasm in my lines this time if I have to :D

Trust me, if it is executed like I'm planning it then it will work. I know a lot of people hate musicals, but I'm positive what I'm planning will be accepted.

You just seem to be correcting everyone all the time, so I guessed you could appreciate it.

Musicals are fine, as long as they're not cheesy, are well-written and are implemented because it feels right, not just 'for the heck of including it'. Otherwise, they usually turn out bad.

MDT, you may want to check out this thread:
http://area.autodesk.com/forum/autodesk ... -error-20/
It's about a specific error you can have, which you don't seem to be having, but I suggest looking into the thread anyway since a solution is given and that solution may help you too. Besides, nothing bad can come of the solution - it really is a solution, not a risky work-around that could harm your PC.

I haven't got mad so far. I'm having pure fun + I'm also learning about you all from such arguments and I'm sorry but now you're "under the line" for me, if you know what I mean.

Absolutely. Remember the "They Speak of a Hero" piece I uploaded a few weeks ago? That was also a musical number, though sort of half one because you're controlling Rayman at the same time.

For the one I'm planning it will begin just as Rayman finishes the first level, "The Dream Forest," as everyone is waving goodbye and cheering for him. However, after he leaves the Magician is solemn. Everything other than him suddenly goes dark. Then a spotlight comes on, his usual red one as seen in the Rayman 1 intro, and he describes his feelings through song. It's the kind of thing where it starts out simple as he begins describing the things he wishes he had, and then it moves onto begging to be one of them in his over the top voice like when he says "scattered all over the woooorld!!" It could almost be compared to a 60's jazz rock combo. At the very end he's almost in tears, and says one last solo phrase in a weepy voice, no backing track present, as he looks up at the double moon with the sounding night time crickets in the background, then retracts into his hat as the scene fades away.

It then returns to Rayman as he begins his treck through the Dream Forest Depths - a fitting transition of bright song, fading to solemn song, fading to a night time treck through the foreboding darkness.

I've always liked the way Disney incorporates speech in songs. It kind of breaks the song in a fun way, though somehow you're kept in the rhythm. I like the ideas you have, RayFan.

Out of curiosity will you be able to skip cutscenes in the game?

I think that if you'll incorporate something as a skip cutscene command, you should make it an obvious button like ESC, but not an easily accidentally pressed button like Enter or the spacebar. I can't fathom how many times I've ranted over the fact I accidentally skipped a cutscene and can now never again recover it, because there is no such thing as a video library in the game.

This reminds me of my cousin and me playing Jak 3. He doesn't know English so I watched like half the intro cutscene and he skipped it and I was all 'you asshole'.

It's fun when people are bored and skip stuff you wanted to see. I had that the other day with a game I was playing with someone who had already played it through. I was watching, suddenly he skips it and goes 'Oh I'm sorry - I thought you had already seen that?' The video could not be recovered. Well, monkey wrenches!

Same, in fact I am ripping its music at the moment. Along with so many other games.
I like the idea of the Magician's song, RayFan. If you pull it off right I have no doubt it'll be awesome. :)
