I’m all up for it!

I added the PS1 version of Rayman 2 separately as suggested. I was going to say least favourite antagonist, but then I realised it's clearly about the battle itself, and not the character.

this isnt even fair origins doesnt even have a final boss
that said despite playing neither r1 nor the ps1 version of r2 im voting for r2 in general anyway it was Not fun

If you include Big Mama as a boss I guess, but then what about that "Cloud of Darkness".

Somebody remind me what the final boss battle for Legends was...

I'm not sure, I just remember clouds and darkness of some sort.

That boss beginns good but then becomes a lame "if you get hit once, start over" and the camera doesnt help

the legends final boss isnt even a final boss its just. a boss. you can beat them in any order i believe
though it does have a bit of finalness to it with it kicking your ass between phases and the whole secition at the end where it showers you with lums while the lum king music played (which wasnt anywhere else in the game). but my point still stands. wish there was like, an actual final boss you unlock after you defeat all of the five other ones but whatever

I understand what you mean yeah, but I guess since it's the latest level before the music world, we're just assuming it to be the final boss. Same with Big Mama in Rayman Origins, where she's fought after the Land of the Livid Dead. I know She's in Rayman Legends too, but since it's just Back to Origins, I wouldn't count her as the final boss in this game.

I didn't mind the Rayman 2 boss, that one's easy to me. My pick is Rayman 1's final 'boss', which is really just a curious blending of several bosses from the game. You don't really to get fight Mr. Dark himself. A let down for me tbh.

Thankfully Redemption fixes that!

I don't mind the final boss in Rayman 1, in fact, I love the music from it. I think if I was going to choose one, I might have to go with Rayman 2 PS1 personally. While crashing in Rayman 2 and having to start over is annoying, I'm just not very fond of the PS1 version's battle.

Maybe I'll change my mind after further thought, but it's clear that I tend to like levels in Rayman games that others hate (and possibly vice versa). I prefer a challenge really instead of a game being too easy, and tbh Rayman 2 still is pretty easy. The Sanctuary of Stone and Fire is actually my favourite Rayman 2 level. Many people tend to hate this level, yet I love it!

Now that, I agree with, I love Mr. Dark's theme! The boss battles are actually pretty neat too
(I must sound like a hypocrite after what I posted earlier lol)

As a kid i didn't like Stone and Fire that much bc I didn't like looking at lava in general (maybe I had a fear of lava or something?). To this day though, I'm in the middle, not my favourite, not my least favourite. I like the complexity of the stage though. And riding a plum on lava, now that was cool! It's amazing how Rayman world plums are.

I guess I'll vote for Big Mama? Though Hades' Hand was very anticlimactic too, in my opinion.

Seems the majority don't like fighting Razorbeard so far.

Never played Rayman 2 PS1, so not sure I should answer that... Bah, I'll vote for Origins, because that "Big Mamma" is both ugly and annoying, and the music is pretty terrible too.

It seems like the classic Rayman 2 Grolgoth battle is unpopular. Probably cause it's so frustrating if you don't use the infinite fire easter egg.

I dunno, for me I don’t find it incredibly difficult bc I think his patterns are relatively easy. I assume most people would have trouble avoiding the homing shots thrown at Rayman.

The homing shots, especialy on n64 and ds, are ass

They are a lot faster than rayman

Yes that’s true, if you go in a straight line theyll eventually catch up to you. I can usually get rid of them by lightly brushing the surface of a wall.

Now as for the poll, I’m deciding between PS1 (incredibly long) and Origins (not very exciting and the boss itself is ugly)

Id say origins

Despite ps1 being long, its fun and actualy hard
