Yeah, it can be kept...But bonus levels etc should be unlocked by collecting lums or whatever, not by rushing through levels to get the highest score.

I'm not sure what you mean by "rushing through levels".

I can't rush through levels, especially when there are loads of beautiful sceneries to feast your eyes on, and moments to hit the Select button.
But the

That's true. Personally I find the score system tedious and frustrating though.

Yeah, even I replayed it once or twice.

What I want in Rayman 4 is a Skip button in cut-scenes.

Well, to get a high score, you need to collect gem after gem, and kill enemy after enemy. Thus, you rush through it, and before you know it, you're in the next level.
If that was a joke (the

smiley), I do't get it.

Xenno's such a pro at it he doesn't need to rush.

I didn't rush through the levels to get my score.
Quite the opposite actually.

So you went in slow-motion?

(actually, that isn't such a bad idea...)

Come on, I'm sure some of those combos take ages to get right.

You have to keep going back and forth in the parts to get the best of everything... and sometimes you need to do some preparation work before playing any of the combos. Plus there's often like a million restarts. It's a very slow and boring process.

Gets you to the top of the hall of fame though.

The points system is for Rayman 3. Not Rayman 4. If we want to play for points, we'll go back to R3...no use in reusing the same system over again, especially such a frustrating one...

Yeah.... or Ubisoft has to re make the points system.
And Time attack challenges would be good too!!
Then we can make a time attack hall of fame here!!

I'd hate to re-do the Hoodlums Revenge levels to do combos.

There should be a fairly difficult-to-reach maximum score for each level.

No way. Ambiguous maximums are totally the way forward.

Why not have a score system in anyway to appeal to those who like them?
I'd like Rayman 4 to be on a Blu-ray disc so then it'll be much faster, better quality and so much more bigger. ^^

I much more prefer highscores, such as race times.
