I would'nt mind that actually. Then at least you know exactly when you might die, thus giving you time to mess up your life and have as much fun with all your savings as possible.

Have so much fun? I don't think I'd be able to have fun with the knowledge that I'd be dead the following days. I suppose it would be nice to treat yourself, but I still don't know if I'd enjoy a single second.

And the case might be different. You could have a disease that will kill you in a few days, but it may weaken you so much, you wouldn't be able to move.

If I absolutely had to choose I would probably choose a sudden, massive heart attack.

Dying from a disease would be horrible. But the single worst way of dying would definitely be starvation, for me. It's a long and painful process, and the last day of your life would be spent clenching your stomach and not being able to move.

Sometimes a heart attack can take a few painful minuets to kill you. That must suck.

You forgot heart failure, which is different from a heart attack.

I forgot nothing. I selected some of the most painful ways to die, and put them in the poll, knowing of the many other ways of dieing. Sure, there might be more painful ones, but who cares.

I've heard that most people are rendered unconsious by shock before they hit the ground, but I'm no doctor yet, so I'm not sure.

What about getting hit by a train? Slowly crushed by a roller? Getting mauled by lions? Being hung upside-down until your head explodes? Eating Mcdonalds for the rest of your life?

Still, I'll choose heart attack..

Victim has a cage full of starving rats placed on his cheast, under side is removed
Victim is repeatedly dropped into huge spikes
Victim is hung upside down for days or until head explodes
Victim is put in a cradle of sharp spikes and rocked violently
Victim's fingernails are ripped off and fingers get repeatedly hammered
Victim gets slowly crushed by a 10 ton weight

Just some examples. You'll find the British are very creative when it comes to torturing people.

Falling off a building/cliff would be horrible, but the death is quick and not painful.
