I think it is because your image is quite old. I've seen it around several times... i don't know where anymore and whether it was on- or offline too, but a cat with fire in the background, i am sure that i have seen that before...

And it's put together poorly.

Also the gradient is not very original too, and did you make that text with the paths tool ? There are a lot of little edges that you should erase.

You can actually change the options is a poll, and as long as you don't change the number of options it won't reset.
