The moonjump isn’t possible in the PS1 version.

Hey Spiral, Can you write an article about this on RayWiki?

I’ll get around to it sometime. This is probably large and significant enough to warrant its own page rather than a paragraph in the Tomb of the Ancients one.

By the way, I managed to accidentally activate the Gauntlet cheat in the Dreamcast version the other day. It was in the Echoing Caves. I was standing right next to the Gorilla Pirate with the plum on his head (who is directly under a vertical shaft with a netting ladder thing [‘under a well’, remember?]), randomly tapping the ‘shoot’ button (as you do), and the word ‘Gauntlet’ flashed across the screen and suddenly I had a golden fist. This proves that you don’t need to actually go to the secret area to get the cheats active. You just need to perform the right action in the right place.

OK, I guess I've been loosing very interesting informations about that wierd hole. OO'

Crap, I must try out this by myself and upload it on my Youtube playlist of Dreamcast gameplay...

EDIT: Shut UP! OO It does works!:

Holy cow, only thinking that this thing was figured out 10 years later.......... wow.

Does anyone managed to get the cheats work in specific places?

Do they work on other classical versions of R2?

Are there more cheatcodes that I might be unaware?

I wrote an article about it for RayWiki. You can read it if you don’t want to bother trawling through the twenty pages of this thread.

Yes, there are plenty of specific places where the cheats work. For example, you can activate Gauntlet by going down the waterfall in the Woods of Light (right after you find the first Yellow Lum in the game) and just shooting repeatedly.
Haruka wrote:Do they work on other classical versions of R2?
No, just the Dreamcast one.

Well, there’s Kaleidoscope Textures:
MJongo wrote:Just made another discovery. Ever see the following codes on sites, and couldn't get them to work?

Kaleidoscope Textures Press Down,A,Down,B,A,Y,X,X
Rayman VMU Icon Press Up, X, Y, Down, Y, X, Left, Right

Try inputting them in a level with the controller in slot 2, then exiting the level.
Kaleidoscope textures is one of the coolest things you will ever see. :)
You might want to make a video of it, since MJongo is the only member here who’s seen it so far.

Thanks, spiral.
There's only one thing wrong, The hole does appear on Rayman Revolution. It may be different in there, who knows (Updated graphics hole :D)

Thanks for the info Spiral.

Kaleidoscope Textures?

Hmmm... interesting. Of course I want to make a video of it when I'm able to trigger it on my DC emulator.

Has someone entered the hole in Rayman Revolution??? I wonder how it looks like in that version, as that's graphically the best version.

Spiral says the trick doesn't work in other versions, so I guess that it can only be acessed by hacking.

And hacking is not possible on Rayman Revolution

You think Revolution has better graphics than the Dreamcast version?

I personally think. What I found a pity is the FPS not be totally soft in the 60 FPS with confortable time response as in Dreamcast. Some details of DC could have been in the PS2.

There is one code on Action Replay called 'M'. It could mean 'Moonjump, but otherwise I'm not sure what it does. I've tried inputting it but it refuses to work. If you have any ideas of what I can do to help, just ask.

DIdn't M mean ''Master code'' or something like that? Now that i remember, you gotta put ON that cheat for the others to work.
