I only have the sad face in DOTK.

I just bettered my score in TFC. from 27k to 28k. I know I used to have 70k on CF

I've got a happy Murfy in every level.
The Knaaren are still the scariest, yet coolest, species in Rayman

Really? I always though that level shouldn't have been in a children game...

I think rayman 3 wasn't really meant for children, but rather for old fans who became adults since they played the 1st one. compared to rayman 2, the atmosphere is way different. in rayman 2 it's carebear land (when it comes to your allies). in rayman 3, you have knaarens who are as lovely as hannibal lecter, murfy is sarcastic as hell as the players are actually expected to know how to play and not need him, globox gets drunk, and there are even sex jokes.

I think I was scared of mr. stone. hell, even rayman was scared.
in rayman 2 I was scared of the plum of doom in sanctuary of stone and fire, as I could not control it, and it was pure luck if I managed to not kill myself while riding on the lava

In Polish there's also Bégoniax calling Rayman a rapist and after the battle saying ''You probably wanted to rape me, didn't you!?''. Brrrr.

- HH level, when Globox is hanging upside down. He's talking something about how flexible are 3D game models and how helpful is it in some... private situations ("ke-ke-ke-ke")
- BoM level, Begoniax insults Rayman that he has never seen a real woman (there was something like that in Polish version, not sure about original one; I'm grateful she didn't want to show him how real woman should look like D: ), also calling him pervert and talking something about rape in very significant voice ("Oh, well, after you have defeated me, chased right to dead end, you sureeely would rape me now... Wouldn't you? Wouldn't youuu~ <3" - Louve fails in translating hurr durr; also Polish, not sure about original)

None of enemies was scary for me :T srsly. Only in R2 I flipped the fuck out when fighting Grolgoth ("Y U NO DIE?!") - but, oh come on, when it was?
R3? Knaarens (I guess it's because of that music) and Reflux/Leptys... maybe not so much (hurr durr he has no teeth, no brain and no undiezzz).

By the way, I think maybe the small guardians of the Cave of Bad Dreams can be scary. I always play around with the enemies in the Rayman games because they're too easy to beat for me if I try my 'normal' way, so I discovered some pretty nasty battle tactics the mini guardians apply. Ok, watch this:
1) Two mini guardians just hoppin' around, minding their own business.
2) ENTER Rayman.
3) Mini guardians don't pay a squat of attention to him, occassionally spiral out of the way or hurl fireballs at him.
4) Then they both submerge at the same time, so Rayman starts looking around to find them, knowing they will emerge at some point since he's played the game before.
5) Rayman sees a pair of hands coming out of the ground in front of him. He thinks "Haha, now I've got you!" and strafe-locks onto the position of the hands.
6) Consequently, he does not notice the second pair of hands emerging behind him.
7) The first guardian pops out; no big deal, hit him once.
8 ) Rayman hears the evil 'I've popped out of the ground' sound behind him, quickly swivels around to find, at his horror, the mini guardian right there.
9) He shoots - still everything is okay.
BUT THEN
10) The guardian that was hit the first time is now behind Rayman. He leaps, Rayman gets hit and is pushed forwards, into the arms of the second guardian.
11) The second guardian now eats him.
12) EXIT Rayman.
13) The second guardian wipes his mouth.

It's odd, this happened to me many time when I played the PS1 version as a Kid, but now, nothing, I just beat 'em and leave 'em.
Damn my lacking skills in my youth, it failed to save me from being scarred (I got over it).
I used to have nightmares over them as a kid, as well as Mr. Dark oddly enough.

I know right. I couldn't get one smiling Murfy on ANY level and now I have them all.
I also wouldn't go near the Desert of the Knaaren once I'd completed it but now... it's my FAVOURITE level!

But check this:
You know the great hall in the Desert of the Knaaren and those floating upside down teeth.
There's a green can in an alcove by the statue. In one turn I ran up the ramp to eventually jump to the can (note Knaarens following me). I then run back down and spin the platform but I DON'T get the gems. Instead, I see the oppurtunity to make more points so I jump back on the floating platforms (note Knaarens still following me). I grab a blue can this time (since it lasts the longest) and go back for the gems (note Knaarens are still following me). When I finally run back up the ramp to actually complete this level, the Knaarens are waiting for me. I dart past them thinking "oh hell!" I survive to hop onto the first floating platform and think I'm safe now... Suddenly, one Knaaren smart-ass makes a leap for my platform from the ramp and I only see his claws scrape past me... THANK GOD!!!

Not so much 'scared of' but find very ugly and hard to look at: Tily. I think it's mainly how they rendered her in artwork:



Why did they replace Ly with this...thing, in Rayman M? Weird naked cherub thing with mold spots all over it and a bizarre creepy face.

I could say the same for most of the Rayman cartoon's replacement cast too. Why not just use Ly, Globox etc?

It actually looks like Tily's skin bears some resemblance to some of the vulcanic rock textures used in Rayman 2...

When I was a kid, I thought it was because she was made of gingerbread.

i think that little Knaarens are so scary. What they say like crash his bones and they screams are very creepy. And they are indestructibles.Is a time of tension because we do not want to be caught.

Being catched up by a Knaaren isn't a quite pleasant thing to see at all.
