I cannot sleep without a second pillow, otherwise the next day I'll wake up with neck pain
About the sleep position I use the same pose as shown in this meme, with one arm raised under the pillows also because 2 pillows are not enough for me
Before seeing this meme I always named it the "Superman" pose because of the arm raised

I always face the right side when going to sleep, but end up walking on the left

For anyone using or considering to use melatonin to cure some of your insomnia, try not to use it too much and make sure to have some days in between using it. Apparently it breaks down pretty slowly in your body and it can stack up if you're not careful, causing fever dream nightmares. I just had a couple of them in a row and I'm taking a break of it right now.

Same, my body refuses to sleep without a second pillow.

Ehh, took melatonin every night for a few months after college to try and sleep at a more normal schedule, guess I'll be feeling it for a long time. Didn't really do anything for me in the long run. But hey, maybe it will work for others!

Try to imagine sleeping on your side while you have one of these things stuck in your arm at all times:

I think the best example to illustrate it would be television static. There's just an ominous feeling in those dreams and random things seem to be happening all the time. For example: I saw a pink wheel of Gouda cheese and some guy told me that's "framboise" flavour. It really reminds me of Tony's fever dreams in the Sopranos tv series.

I also love to fall asleep in this position. I don't know what its impact on the body is, but I feel very comfortable in it.
When I had a girlfriend, I used to sleep with my leg on her. Now, in her place, I have this body pillow, which fits perfectly for this sleeping style

I generally sleep on my back or my side, depending on what feels most comfortable at the time. Though the one thing I always have to have when I try to sleep is my box fan running. The noise and air flow just helps me sleep better. I can't sleep when it's just quiet. I don't know how some people can do it, but I know I can't.
