N-ever? Seriously?

Ranking Every Green Day Member EVER:

1. Billie Joe Armstrong (Vocals 1987-1988, Lead Vocals and Guitar 1988-2025) Wrote 99% of the songs and is a very nice and entertaining guy.

2. Tré Cool (Drums 1990-2025) Wrote some very good joke songs like Dominated Love Slave, All By Myself, Billie Joe’s Mom and DUI. Also very funny in interviews.

3. Al Sobrante (Drums 1988-1990) Gave the charm to all the old songs, and seems like a genuinely nice guy still on good terms with the trio.

4. Jason White (Touring Guitar 1999-2025, Guitar 2012-2016) Wholesome guy and did very well in the trilogy as a newcomer. Sadly he had to drop out the band because of cancer in 2016.

5. Mike Dirnt (Guitar 1987-1988, Bass 1988-2025) His baselines a cool but I’m worried about his politics a bit.

6. Sean Hughes (Bass 1987-1988) Couldn’t really find any info about him online, but the “dentist incident” makes me chuckle sometimes

7. Aaron Cometbus (Drums 1990) Not really sure why he left, but he seems like a nice enough guy.

8. Jean (??? 1987) Only known through a Reddit post, so anyone below this guy has to be a serious dick to be worse.

9. Dave Henwood (Drums 1990) I’m sure his heart was in the right place, but did he really think Green Day should’ve actually started from scratch???

10. Raj Punjabi (Drums 1987-1988) The worst of the worst. This guy is definitely entitled to feel the “it should’ve been me” energy (he left the band to undergo construction) but that doesn’t mean he has to be a cunt in every. single. interview. The only songs we’ve heard him play with the band are Merciful Children and (maybe) Stay.

Oh, hey! There's a topic for this. I can now share my horrible opinions for all to see!

I'll start off with Rayman games since we're on the Rayman Pirate Community...

1. Rayman Origins/Rayman 2: The Great Escape
They share a spot, because they're both really great. However, if I had to choose, it would be Origins. Such a lovely game. :hap:

2. Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc
This game has hoodlums. Nothing more to say, I just think Hoodlums are the peak of enemy design and enemies in general.

... And the game is good in general

3. Rayman 1
The world is awesome, with kick-ass music, visuals, and storytelling! A great way to start off a game series and to start off a playlist!

Although... I've never played it :oops2:

4. Rayman Fiesta Run/Mini
I hate mobile game controls. But, the worlds here are gorgeous, so I have to set them both here! :mryellow:

5. Rayman Legends
I have a gargantuan distaste for Rayman Legends. It's boring, you can complete it within days, and the OST isn't that good either.

6. Rayman Jungle Run
Did I mention that I hate the mobile game controls? Well, I do. And this game is super uninspired and boring to play. I'm glad they somewhat fixed this with Fiesta Run... :mefiant:

Ranking Types Of Meat

1. Pig: Bacon, Sausage, Pepperoni, Pork ribs. It’s all so good!

2. Chicken: I like chicken curry, but I’m mostly big on this because of fried chicken.

3. Cow: The classic meat, and you can make lots of great dishes, just none as memorable as the above two.

4. Fish: I love fish and chips and all, but that’s the only real good thing you can get from them.

Re: What's your top list ?

Post by Giant Chicken »

So many lists coming out recently, im gonna have to redo my big one soon
Anyways, here's my list for my top 5 favorite video games ever!

5: Oneshot. The music and pixel art are great, and the story is suprisingly great! I found the Solstace DLC to be a bit worse, but the main game's story was really intresting! The puzzles are a bit tedious, however, aside from the 4th wall breaking puzzles. The main character also has the same name as me, which is neat! 8.5/10.

4: Balatro. I've always enjoyed playing poker (even if im terrible at it), but I never thought of turning it into a rougelike! The gameplay is extremely addicting, to the point of where I'd spend all day just playing it, and the soundtrack fits the game perfectly! The art is also solid, but the luck factor of the game can be a pain. Even then, you can still win most runs as long as you play them right! 9/10.

2: Celeste. Now THIS is peak platforming. Hands down the best 2d platformer game in terms of gameplay (not my favorite, that one goes to another game), and its paired with absolutely gorgeous art! The story's definitely not the main focus of the game, but even then it also manages to be great! The music is also solid, and its difficulty surpasses even the likes of Super Meat Boy! My only real problem with the game is that some of the world gimmicks are not really fun to deal with (namely world 3 and 5). 9.5/10

2: ...Rayman Origins? NOT at first? What is this blasphemy??? Well, if you know anything about me, you know I absolutely adore this game. However, its objectively not as good of a game as the one above it. Its music, art, and gameplay are all perfect in my opinion (please spare me Greengoop), but some worlds having twice the levels as others is pretty sad, the lum medals genuinely suck to get, and admittedly... Some levels in this game are... just okay!!! 9.8/10.

1: Omori. The only game to ever make me cry, Omori is just absolutely amazing. The art looks extremely stylized, and really good, its music is almost exclusively bangers that perfectky encapsulate the vibe of each area, the gameplay, while simple, is suprisingly intuitive, with multiple viable strategies existing to beat the game with (I personally enjoy the Kel nuke), and the story is just so depressing! The only real complaints I have is that Humphrey can drag on a bit, and the dialogue is decently!

I know right, just thinking you gotta make another before there’s too many!

As everyone else is doing too 10 games, it’s only fitting!

1. Rayman Legends. This is THE game. So much to do and so much replayability. Also got me my first platinum, which is something.

2. DeathSpank. I finished this game for the first time in January and, wow, what a blast from the past! Nostalgia aside, It’s one of the only games that makes grinding an enjoyable process, and the only game where I’ve actually had proper laughs at.

3. Monster Legends. A mobile game in your top 10??? Booooo! Well, this is no normal mobile game, I’ve been playing it for nearly as long as I’ve been breathing. So much history to the game makes it fun to reflect on, and while you’re collecting monsters to top the current meta, it’s still great fun today!

4. Rayman Origins. Another Rayman game in my top 5, this one is essentially all my points for legends but slightly worse.

5. DeathSpank: Thongs Of Virtue. A lot bigger than the first game, but felt more of a drag and had less enjoyable moments.

6. Minecraft. I love this game, this’ll probably never leave my top 10. Really surprised I didn’t put it in my top 5.

7. Fortnite. Didn’t expect to see this one here eh? It’s just a very good thing to play when I get bored, I suppose.

8. The Baconing. The final DeathSpank game, and definitely the weakest of the 3. Probably because of the lack of Ron Gilbert as a director.

9. Rayman Adventures. What? Another mobile game? Disgusting? Unfortunately, I really miss this game, I’ve very fond memories of spending half a day watching ads to get enough gems to speed up an egg to do my next adventure. I’m a big collector so the snoring tree was very fun.

10. Spider Man 2. I remember getting this on my birthday last year and just having a blast rapidly swinging across New York. My friend also helped me get the platinum with I feel both proud and ashamed of. I hope another spider man game releases soon because all 3 were amazing.

Here's my top Rayman ability list in Rayman 2. They are all so great!

slide
The mechanic of holding back to take sharper angles is a simple but fun element that I didn't appreciate as a child (was too dumb). And the implementation of the physics is exaggerated in a nice way that you really feel the effect without it straying too far from realism.

first-person view
I can't get this to work on some versions of the game so I appreciate this ability. It's nice to take a good look around and appreciate the art. It's incredible how much atmosphere there is in this old game.

helicopter
When we talk about physical action abilities, modern games tend to favour fast-paced moves. But for this game, the slow speed of the helicopter ability seems to be its strength. There's something cinematic about covering large gaps slowly and just making it to the other side, or the long, vertical drops.

jump
The feel of the animation when jumping upwards or the roll when jumping forwards never gets old. This ability is too rudimentary for me to place it higher, but I wanted to highlight how well this simple ability is implemented.

magic fist
Initially it seemed strange to me that Rayman doesn't shoot his actual fists like in Rayman 1. It's logical for a character whose fists are detached from his body. However the way these curious illuminated beads bounce off surfaces feels truly magical and it grew on me. It can be tactical as well, though this is easier when the target is standing still and those enemies are easy to defeat anyway. What I find more fascinating is how it can bounce off at all sorts of different angles, totally no idea how it's calculated but it is fascinating.

Considering all the clubs that came around, I figured I kight as well do a list ranking some!

10: 1337 posts club. What was even the point? the highlight of this club comes from MyBodyIsReady, "I wanna fuk u in de assssssss Rulzez"
9: Globteensy's club. Juat a lot of spamming, and most of it isn't even funny!
8: Rayman secret club. Just an advertisment for a website.
7: LY HATERS CLUB/THE LY LOVERS CLUB. Marks the tipping point, but the civil war was decently funny (at first).
6: Incrediball Disownership Club. Made for the April fools event (I think). Just dunking on Incrediballs, which is funny enough, but like Master said "Most likely will just sink into obscurity, as it should."
5: Rabbids Disownership Club. Essencially the same thing, but I like the Rabbids more.
4: Murfy Hate Club: The one that started the chaos. It was a funny idea, but devolved into absolute chaos, and then infighting. Still was great.
3: Murfy FAN club. Started just to add to the joke, but it became pretty funny by itself! (The Murfy art was beautiful to me)
2: Tily Haters Club. The original hating club, and the biggest one! Too bad its dead.
1: The All Nighter's Club. Made for doing all nighters on RPC, making it the only Club with an actual reason to exist!
