Yeah OK. Download link is https://mega.co.nz/#!fZs3iLSY!GmF2pT9v4 ... WdU08FTec8.
Put the file in the cheats directory of PCSX2. Make sure you do not rename it. Make sure in PCSX2 settings (GC Window) it is set to 16:9 and start the game. (The patch is designed for the NTSC version, so make sure you use that version).

And also make sure that Cheats are activated and you start using fast boot! Or else you will die!

I can't do anything with it right now myself, due to not owning suitable software, however, if you and Em could put together a guide for other members to run Revolution in Widescreen for the Emulation Thread, I'll be glad to add it with credits, and reward you both.

OK, I've posted a tutorial on the emulation thread, along with some minor problems that may occur when using the patch (both may be fixable).

So my friend from college is letting me borrow his Hauppauge PVR, as he wants me to run some tests with it, and try to solve an issue he was having.
I got the first of my tests uploaded. It's not Rayman, (it's Sonic Generations), and the video doesn't seem to be fully processed yet, as the HD settings look just like 360p. It's also a completely raw test, meaning I just used the default capture settings, and didn't do any editing in Sony Vegas to improve the picture quality. But I figured I'd post it here just so you guys can see I'm working on preparing my Legends playthrough.
I'm actually going to hook my Wii U up to the PVR and do some more testing using Rayman Legends, so expect a video on that tomorrow.
Also, watch me mess up badly in Sonic Generations!

Yeah, I can see what you mean when you say you need to tweak it a little, 'sides that, it looks pretty decent.

I tried recording Rayman Legends Wii U footage, but it kept freezing the recording after 3-4 minutes. Same thing actually happened to that Sonic Generations video, only it lasted longer.
This is an issue I really need to figure out.

That Sonic Generations video is finished processing. You can now view it in up to 1080p resolution.
I'm actually really impressed. For a raw recording, it looks really good. Still has some issues, but even now, it's presentable.
(Also, double posted to get the topic going again).

Please no double posting. Copy your previous post to your clipboard, delete your post and post again, paste the copied text from clipboard and put your edition to the bottom.

Em, leave the moderating to us, 'sides, reading his post shows that it was justified.

It's fine, emshomar. On the other forum I'm on, regular members would tend to correct newcomers on little mistakes like double posting, and still do. Heck, I did it a few times.
Just so it's known, I am familiar with basic forum conduct, and I know that double posting is generally frowned upon. On the other forum I'm on, however (which is stricter than this forum), double posting/bumping topics is considered acceptable if you have a good enough reason for it. Such as announcing something, like a news update.
I know this situation wasn't the best situation to double post, but I took a bit of a chance, as the topic had been inactive for an unusually long time, and if I merely edited, it may have been stuck for a bit more. And I always feel guilty when a topic goes inactive after my own post, as it makes me feel like I killed the topic somehow, or that I ruined everyone's mood.
So yeah, I don't aim to double post, quite the opposite actually.

Minimodding isn't allowed in some forums, just saying!

I never considered something as simple as advising someone not to double post, and telling them how to edit posts in more or less one sentence, an example of mini-modding. I just consider it basic social skills. :I

They way which it was said conveyed less of an advisory tone, and more of an official tone, at least, that's how I interpreted it.
Either way, let's not drag this out, hm?

About the PVR do you know what model it is? Because there are two models and model 2 is said to be nowhere near as good as model 1.

Yeah, it's "HD PVR 2 Gaming Edition Plus".
My friend is thinking on getting a refund, so I'll probably advise him to get a Model 1 or an Elgato.
