Speaking of which I found this kinda interesting map, although it’s a bit outdated
I don't think I'd want a pizza made out of oil.Ambidextroid wrote: Sat Aug 17, 2024 2:21 am I've tried the dominos local to my town, and it tastes like oil. But the dominos in Leeds was pretty good. So I can't trust a chain on being consistent.
The two locals I go to are birtellis and red hot mamas. One is crispy, the other is sloppy. And it's impossible for me to decide which one I like more
That’s a new one on me!Steo wrote: Sat Aug 17, 2024 2:25 am They don't even have Domino's in Sweden, but whatever Pizzerias they have are good nonetheless.
Domino's over here is nice, but it's also very expensive. I guess most pizza is expensive though either way. A lot of people here end up just ordering Chinese take away because it costs less, and I believe people in England do this too.Hoodcom wrote: Sat Aug 17, 2024 2:27 am I don't think I'd want a pizza made out of oil.![]()
I don't think the Dominos I've tried was that bad before, but someone got something wrong at yours.
Oh, well nice to know that you do that in the States also then haha. Sweden also doesn't really have Chinese take away like this, and would have Indian instead.Hoodcom wrote: Sat Aug 17, 2024 2:29 am Yeah, our local Chinese restaurant here is really good. Now I want it again. Thanks Steo.![]()
We have Pizza Hut in Ireland too. There actually are some American chains in Ireland and England ironically. I don't see a lot of them reach Scandinavian countries though, and I have no idea bout the rest of Europe. The Jonster wrote: Sat Aug 17, 2024 2:28 am Hmmm so dominos is something worldwide. I wonder what people would think of other chains like Pizza Hut or Papa John’s.
I have a whole thread for Chuck E CheeseChronicTraitor wrote: Sat Aug 17, 2024 2:31 am I love cheese pizza myself, and I usually always get it from any pizza place we go to. If they can't get cheese right, I don't want to know what else they can't get right tastes like. We've got a few chains around here, though Mr. Jims Pizza is probably my favorite next to Chuck E Cheese.![]()
Yeah, a lot of them are owned by actual Chinese families, ours especially is.Steo wrote: Sat Aug 17, 2024 2:32 amOh, well nice to know that you do that in the States also then haha. I think Matpat made a vid disproving that. The Jonster wrote: Sat Aug 17, 2024 2:34 am You know I heard this weird conspiracy theory in the past about Chuck E Cheese (can’t remember what it is atm). But it’s probably fake. Still has been a long time since I went though

Those are extremely common here anyway, people very often order some Chinese take-away at night over here if they just feel like treating themselves.Hoodcom wrote: Sat Aug 17, 2024 2:34 am Yeah, a lot of them are owned by actual Chinese families, ours especially is.
