I like that theory, maybe at the end, the dark teensie gets overpowered and the darktoons start turning him into a monster, and that's how appears Mr. Dark. I just wish it would be like that! I don't know where people created the rumour of that teensie being mr dark. Sorry, but he looks more like The Magician than Mr Dark himself.

I’m afraid those who speculate that the mysterious figure in the trailer is anyone but Mr Dark are simply in denial. It’s really unlikely that the developers would include two separate Darktoon-commanding villains with blue and purple cloaks and hats. Taking into account the redesigns which have already been carried out on Betilla, the Photographer, the Antitoons and the Livingstones, the only logical conclusion is that Mr Dark was simply redesigned. The developers decided to create an origin for the character, and they decided to make him a Teensy – it’s as simple as that. I didn’t like the idea at first either, but I have come to appreciate it – in a way it ties everything together. Just wait – it’s going to be cool.

I'm afraid I deer to disagree, spiral. Indeed, Dark being a Teens(ie/y) is a highly probable thing, but still you just gave me idea of new theory - Teensy-Dark is official face of "true" Dark and penultimate boss.

Michel ancel never confirmed that the evil teensie was mr dark, fans are just falling into that conclusion. Also, we told here a LOT of differences, spiral. The photographer is not the same one as in rayman 1, he doesn't even try to look similar to him, so there's no comparison. The differences between old livingstones and new livingstones aren't THAT big, they just have limbs now. Mr dark is big and has yellow eyes, how is that small teensie with grey hair, a top hat and sunglasses supposed to be mr dark? It's like saying "Oh look, Bowser is now a frog in super mario bros 2" because is a mario game.

I never claimed that Ancel confirmed the character in the trailer to be Mr Dark, but we have received confirmation that the game will reveal Mr Dark’s origins, and there is no way the developers will include a pair of extremely similar but distinct villains in the same game. We do not know whether the Photographer in this game is the same as the one in the original, but considering the fact that we never actually saw that one, and that several other characters have been heavily redesigned, it seems like a very logical assumption. The old Mr Dark looks about as similar to the character in the trailer as the old Betilla looks to the Betilla in this game. I’ve got no doubt whatsoever that this is Mr Dark, but feel free to go on believing whatever you like for the next four months.

I think people here are still trying to adapt to the new character visuals.

Indeed. I find it a good idea myself.

Well well well, Amazon.fr has putted the release date to 13th November 2011:
http://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B003S3R ... d_i=405320
If it is true, then it means we'll have the game earlier than the Americans. The earlier the merrier: I cannot wait.

Super Mario Bros., Super Metroid and Sonic Rivals would like to talk with you.
Highly unprobable? Yes. No way? No way!

Most of "Major" Europe will get the game at the same time, and I there in Poland would still have to wait ~10 days.

America is cheap. Sadly this means a lot of things are low-quality. F*ck High-Fructose Corn Syrup!

Still, we in Europe pay the extra cash primarily because of freaking taxes and customs. I mean, really, look at what is happenning around all the EU right now - not enough money... yet in Poland, tax may easily eat up 75% of typical earnings.

I believe Obama walked away because he was mad and frustrated.
