Can't believe how long I've been gone. Though, I'm not sure how often I'll even visit. I've lost a lot of interest in this. Just came back to see the state of things.

Not much has changed really, but it's nice to hear from you again!

I released a new game today! \o/
It's a bit special, that's why I'm not creating a topic about it. The game was originally created in 2013 by Alexandre Pontaise for smart-phones. It was “successful in some ways”, so Pontaise decided to port it on PC. I was responsible for the port, using Superpowers game engine to make it a HTML5 game.
I also made this trailer:
The game can be play for free on itch.io.
[Yes, it's a complete satire.]

I am really glad my normal avatar is back.
Interesting news from Itooh! Also welcome back Earth Gweeh.
Got a question for you all: has anyone ever tried playing a VR device (Oculus Rift, HTC Vive etc) and if you did what do you think?
I've tried Oculus Rift twice, both times in which I ended up feeling ill after more or less a minute, and yesterday I tried a HTC Vive and had a much better experience ie not feeling immediately seasick.

I've tried the Oculus Rift twice.
Once at a IT school and once at Gamescom with the Rabbids VR ride.
It was pretty cool but it doesn't interest me that much.

I am, worry not, it is just that I was thinking about everything virtual reality could involve in the physical interactions between two persons.
It makes me thinking about Demolition Man.

I thought VR would make physical interactions obsolete...
I thought of Demolition Man too. (And Total Recall.)

Did you heard that ? Ubisoft is having serious issues against Vivendi and his leader Bolloré, I already talked about that a year ago, but as far as I'm aware, the group may try to progressively buy Ubisoft, and while a certain disgust of Ubisoft has grown up inside me because of the various directions the enterprise has taken, I don't really know how to feel towards this.

Vivendi ? Didn't they just leave the games business?
(Man, I used to really hate that company. )

They bought it? I thought they sold it off… I'm obviously rather mixed up, I need to go do some reading…

They had a controlling stake in Activision, which they sold a few years ago. They've been eyeing Ubi for some time, and have been buying an increasing share in them.
