Not to complain or anything but this is what I get on the site:

"Afin d'améliorer notre service, le site est momentanément indisponible.
Nous prévoyons une réouverture prochaine de votre site Fnac.com.
Veuillez nous excuser pour la gêne occasionnée.

Toutefois vous pouvez continuer de consulter notre catalogue Spectacles, en cliquant ici : Spectacles

Pour consulter le catalogue Fnac Voyages et réserver, cliquez ici : Voyages."
From link, I assume it is something with maintenance
I cannot believe I actually tried to read this message outloud :oops2:

British Nicktoons had a few seconds long teaser for Invasion last night while we were watching Ren and Stimpy so I'm guessing it won't be long now. And since I do have Nicktoons and the means to record them all...

This is interesting: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/gaming/news ... movie.html

While the Rabbids aren't my cup of tea, and I probably won't be scrambling to see such a thing, what do you fellas make of it?

It's official. Movies based on games is a new trend.

I saw stuff about this on the Rabbids tag on tumblr and I'm not sure how a movie would work. But then again I've seen Elf Bowling and will see the Lego movie when it comes out.

@Cairnie Apparently the LEGO movie has been really critically acclaimed, which makes me having even more will to watch it when I have the chance. Especially by the fact that a good slice of my childhood was filled with the LEGO universe. :D

I've heard good about the movie as well, and because I can't help myself, I watched all the excerpts from its game cutscenes. I do want to check it out also.

Movies based on games have been around frequently since the 80s. The fact that three animated ones are coming out around the same time seems to be a coincidence.

Lets see how it will be the Rabbids movie, although I am 90% sure it won't be big deal.

I honestly don't know what could even be a plot for the movie :P
It will probably be movie full of immature jokes just to entertain a little kids.

Meh, game-based movies often seem to suck, even if their source material is really rich in terms of narrative (take the Silent Hill trilogy, for instance), as they are written and directed by incompetent filmmakers looking to make a quick buck without putting any real passion behind the movie, except for in the special effects department.

The only reason why I'm somewhat hopeful for the R&C movie is because it goes against that, it's being made by people who were very much involved in the franchise and I think are passionate and understanding of it.

You know, I could possibly, maybe, see a Rabbids movie work. Something along the lines of Gremlins would be rather cool.

Ah, I didn't know that. My faith in that genre is still at a bit of a low, due the Uwe Boll and Silent Hill movies.

It's a real shame, because I went to school and was good friends with Jodelle Ferland (in fact, she was one of my only friends through grades 3 and 4), who played Sharon. She did a stunning job too, so I'm only all the more bothered by how utterly screwy and off-target the direction was. Really, it can make one mad when a child actor's - your friend's - image is left solely in the hands of terrible filmmakers. At least the movie wasn't anything worse than extremely mediocre, it just completely failed at being Silent Hill.

You sir have made my day! but I kinda doubt Ubi wants to make the rabbids even remotely violent anymore.
