It's funny that ^ should advise <, creator of the almighty quotelink, to use a quotelink. Sadly, < discovered quotelinks in signatures follow different rules than those in normal posts and that they look uglier.

< is also slightly afraid of ^^'s comment. <'s gonna hide in a small corner now. eep

Dammit, < got ninja'd by ^^^, and only changed one of the symbols in <'s posts to refer to ^, leaving the other referring to ^^^. It was very late, < was too tired to think properly.

It does? People usually ridicules < because it sound like a former French international soccer player.
^'s comment intrigues me.

The first syllable of ^'s username sounds like the Ancient Greek word for "fire" (πῦρ), with Modern Greek pronunciation.
^ is also informed that "people" in this case (and most cases) is plural, not singular.

^ thinks people as a singular noun is strange just as < does? < doesn't get why 'a gentle people' is a thing... although it does sound poetically soothing.

^ has a point, though < has heard/read it so many times now that it no longer seems strange to <. < wonders what better word there could be. There's "ethnicity", but that's awkward…
