It's funny that ^ should advise <, creator of the almighty quotelink, to use a quotelink. Sadly, < discovered quotelinks in signatures follow different rules than those in normal posts and that they look uglier.

^ thinks people as a singular noun is strange just as < does? < doesn't get why 'a gentle people' is a thing... although it does sound poetically soothing.
