Sure they’re connected. Most of the Rayman 2 map is actually blank. There’s no contradiction.

What I can say is both the beach and the vast forest seen in Globox's House are quite close together.

Maybe the ocean is on one side of a rocky wall and the sunny vista is on another. The vista overlooks the forest and has the sun, while the rock wall itself blocks the sunlight from the beach, and because the rock wall is actually a small mountain itself, different types of weather appear on the other side... ?

That would work, but the problem is that the top of the Globox House clearly overlooks a forest of some sort, with mountains at the distance, whilst the bottom is at a seaside, with no land present in the horizon.
I'm going to assume the well has some magical properties that make it's bottom somewhere different to it's top.
As for the fairy glade...

You can walk all the way around Globox’s House. The place is completely surrounded by a huge forest which is encircled by a mountain range. There’s no sea.

Spiral is correct. I've never seen a sea before. Are you mixing it up with another level?

No, we were talking about the Globox House and below the Globox House area in Revolution.
As the map of the Glade clearly shows, the large forest encircled by mountains is somewhere in the middle. Maybe you're at the edge of one mountain and ... travel underneath them while riding the elevator?
Nah, maybe it's like one of those horizontal elevator things from Eat at Joe's.

Rayman 2 my 2nk most favorite Rayman game, one of my favorite levels is THE CAVE OF BAD DREAMS.
Its awesome, but it can only be played once in Rayman revolution

Indeed it can, shame too, one of Revolutions faults there, along with the unnecessary mixing of levels and unnecessary modifications (in Revolutions Beneath The Sanctuary - referring to the original Rayman 2 level name here - one the holes which have doors which must be shot at to open also have thorns placed in a horrible way which makes it unnecessarily difficult to make it through the hole)
However, despite these unfortunate shortcomings, Revolution is my favourite version of the game, namely because I like the ability to explore more, however, I would have loved Revolution more if it preserved the Dreamcast's 60 FPS and level design (albeit with a few modifications for the Pirate Factory arc).

Wait, what? You can only visit the Cave of Bad Dreams once?! Hmm... oh well, I enjoyed watching the purple coloured everything in there when I played it the first time; I won't have to go back to enjoy the ambience again. Good job I already picked up as many differences as I could and marvelled at or scorned them.

Agreed, I prefer Rayman Revolutions styling on the Cave of Bad Dreams over the other versions, I think it's probably because Revolution's version does not look as blank when compared with the other versions.
Also, The Woods Of Light can only be visited once, once you complete it, you can no longer revisit it.

I liked that level too. The only one I hated was The Prison Ship (first that goddamn sliding, and that goddamn part with flying on shell AUGH).
Oh, wait. I forgot about plum riding in Sanctuary of Stone and Fire.

Plum riding is annoying, flying shells are cool, you just need to get used to the controls.

I once managed to beat it without Falling in the lava, only once though.

Having played the game countless times, I can manage the plum sections easy now, however, learning the controls took much longer than the Flying Shells'
