Indy felt the need to bring up this fact over here. A valuable contribution, but it's kind of weird that it too was in response to something Brad said on RD, and was brought up on the same day.

Ah, right. I remember my surprise when I first came to realise that dinosaurs were feathered. It's certainly not what cinema would have you believe.

Golly, somebody should make a science or dinosaur based topic to discuss things about that. I'd give you all a memory refresher about these majestic chickens.

Now back to Rayman... HE CAN GO SUCK A PLUM IF HE'S NOT DOING WELL IN SCHOOL

I like the Rayman 3 GBA sprites of Rayman, they look the best on a projection screen I think because the GBA, even though it used led (i think, no research so may be wrong.) the graphics will almost always look best on a projecter screen. Even when compared to a 'good' crt monitor I think projectors really nail it with gba Rayman's sprites.

I was just reading the Rayman 2 PC manual. Take a look at this excerpt:
After a particularly stormy night they found him sleeping peacefully in the shade of a palm tree. (...) It didn't take Rayman long to convince the people of the Glade of Dreams of his good intentions. (...) And when he triumphed over the evil Mister Dark(...)
So... Rayman washes up on shore, and then the events of Rayman 1 take place. I've always seen it as R1 > Something happens > Ray washes up on the shore of the Glade > some History takes hold > R2 begins. But Rayman 1 is also set in the Glade, according to the manual. So the Valley is somewhere in the Glade of Dreams?

This is intriguing. I'm sure I'm not the first to point this out, but I must have missed out on the conversation back in the day - what do you guys think?

Yep, that's the standard piece of evidence one* used to deploy back in the day against anyone who believed that the games took place in different worlds. One doesn't really see that belief anymore, probably because since Origins they've been making it clear that it's all the same world, albeit a muddled and incoherent world!

*Read: spiraldoor or I, I guess! :fou:

Well, as far as I know, it's also been proved that some had scales.

Well, he has appeared in a similar artstyle I suppose: Hmm, upon rewatching it, it's not that similar. Though this makes me glad they haven't attempted it.

Well, Pix 'N' Love is doing very interesting sales in plenty of books, including Rayman related ones:

Now it is the perfect chance to get any of the books if your wallets allow (and still don't have a particular publication)!
