< admits, ^'s story has made < wonder about EA, while < isn't fond of how they've run some franchises in recent times, < wasn't expecting for them to have expended such effort as ^ described.

^ is, like <sself, sceptical about the company as a whole. < hasn't been fond of how they overprice or what they tend to do with franchises and companies they buy out, but the whole ordeal has made < realise that's just a tiny part of the absolutely massive company that makes up EA. Not everyone there is rotten. Hell, even the ones we view 'spoil our franchises' or 'make us pay too much' will probably have some solid reasonings for doing the things they do.

It's easy to just go 'fuck EA' but it becomes a whole different deal when you come into contact with the actual, real people that comprise it. So what if there's some creative directors out there that want to see games serialised and DLC'ified, who have their own ideas of what makes a good game that we don't agree with? That doesn't mean that none of the employees in that company deserve our respect.
