Without at least editing that one from "Donald Duck(...)" before swapping and/or changing filenames in R2TGE folder(s), there would be no way for this to function properly even in theory.

I have the deepest doubts that something like this would ever work. Swapping files from both games and then simply renaming them to make one game play the other's files? No. Big no. That's like swapping the hinges from the fridge and the oven and then expecting both appliances to swap their functions in the process.

Been out for some time now, though I cracked it, and I can honestly say, like Episode 1, I did not like it.

I'm now playing Little Samson on NES (through emulation...shhh.) It's a very good game and a definetely reccomended game for the Nintendo Entertainment system.

Finally picked up Rayman 1 from the E shop, hate the fact they totally ditched some tracks and switched alot of them round truly kills the atmosphere of the levels.. I mean The Swamps of Forgetfulness flood with pink plant woods music? Just no. Also they made the game too easy with double hit points, yet in some cases more annoying, Moskitos boss fight is totally messed up imo :( The whole take a picture of yourself at a checkpoint is kinda obnoxious and annoying but on the bright side the game plays still silky smooth and the visuals are still beautiful :) I'll stick with the ps1 version though, hopefully it will be downloadable for the vita when I eventually get one!

Its ironic how the DSi game is 3€ more expensive than the PS1 version, the best of all.

Yeah. Sonic 4 episode 1. i felt like i wasted money....and i did. I hoped something like Sonic Advance. (Never got to play Sonic 1 2 3)

And personally i think the music (at least the boss music) was just terrible

I ensure it is an enjoyable game if you enjoy platformers of GBC era or before.

Love em, if only the E shop give you refunds :fou: So far my expireience with rayman on 3DS hasnt been too great, bad rayman origins port, (I mean i know rayman is missing body parts but no pupils...I mean come on!) Rayman 1 not up to standards and rayman 3D was alright... Aside from that the the 3DS is a wonderful handheld!

I recommend Rayman 1 GBC even if there are members in here that stated they don't like the port/adaptation. I personally think the GBC game is well done, with cool differences and with one of the best graphics made for a GBC game.

Rayman 3 for GBA is the best portable Rayman game available, worth playing. ;)

I actually remember years ago my friend bought it to find many similarities to rayman 2, so he got angry at the shop and returned it thinking they had give him rayman 2 instead :p Is hoodlums revenge any good? I just recall being upset that they didnt make it for ps2 and not bothering with it. only really used my gameboy for pokemon! :o

Hoodlums Revenge is somewhat of a mixed bag, in all honesty I didn't like it, but it's good for collector purposes! The game it's self though I just honestly didn't like, they kind of did something similar to what they did on the Spyro games for the GBA, using the isometric view. For people who usually first start playing Hoodlums Revenge there will be many times where you'll feel as if you reach a platform but you did not, and end up falling to your death or what-not.

Yep, it's good for a collector purpose, i didn't even like it as much as other games, however, Rayman Raving Rabbids GBA was even worse than that.

Oh god I actually had all the spyro gba games as a kid the isometric view could really molest your mind at times, especially when you were missing a gem and had to traverse back through the annoyingly structured level! Think i'll just stick with rayman 3 gba for now :) Ebay here I come

For me the Hoodlums Revenge is the second best portable Rayman game. It can be considered as a "Rayman 3,5" since it is litterally a sequel to the R3HH events. I personally liked the game, but just a normal liking: not too much, not too dislike. Some of the problems I find in the game are the background design (sometimes you get confused in what paths can you go, which walls can you climb, what can damage you or not, etc), the difficulty to glide and landing correctly even with the shadow, the very poor soundtrack variety, the frustrating Game Over screen (the health bar is somehow useless knowing that in 3 followed hits you die), the boss battles are monotonous (but there is an interesting one similar to a Knaaren made of Lava/Fire) and the strange colour changing in the Combat Fatigues. But if you are a Rayman fan and a collector, the game is worth a shot. I'm trying to sell a North American version of the game by the way.
