I actually remember years ago my friend bought it to find many similarities to rayman 2, so he got angry at the shop and returned it thinking they had give him rayman 2 instead :p Is hoodlums revenge any good? I just recall being upset that they didnt make it for ps2 and not bothering with it. only really used my gameboy for pokemon!

Was your friend not aware of that thing called a title screen?

The first post in
this link contains a review I once did for Rayman GBC. Anyone interested can read it if they want to know more about the game.
[[WARNING: MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS]]
In addition to that review, I'd like to add the note of what happens when you've gathered all cages. In the review, I was unsure as to what the "5 question marks" on the world map meant. If you unlock all cages, a new area will appear entitled 'Dark Legacy', which has more awesome music, far more challenging courses and a lot of fast-paced action. If you really want to test your skill, try this area out for sure! Also, the scenery is real nice again. It just keeps getting better, that novelty.

Both are great choices, Bzzit.
However Rayman 2 Forever is more disappointing if you compare with R1GBC.

Rayman 3 and the GGC version of Rayman 1 are pretty good. I've never played Hoodlums Revenge Rayman Raving Rabbids GBA, or Rayman 2 Forever. Worth checking out? I played nearly all the RRR games for the DS and they were lame. RRR 1 was okay, but mediocre at best.

Just got back from finishing Jak 2 in HD, I can honestly say it was a great game an all but something about Jak 2 and 3 wasn't right, the futuristic approach with all the guns, it was such a huge approach. Jak 1 was simple, and the most beautiful looking out of the entire trilogy imo, I just bought the HD remake for 1, and so far I absolutely love it, this has to be the best HD remake I ever played, this looks extremely colorful and beautiful.

I'm going to be honest and say I lie on the other side of the spectrum, preferring Jak 2 and onwards.

I did purchase Jak 1 and 2 on it, however I don't have 3, I wish somebody would be willing to game share at one point, it'd save me money.

Unfortunately, my copies are on physical disc, from the HD trilogy, so I can't help you there.

I already gave my opinion about Rayman Hoodlums Revenge a few posts ago, you can read it.
Rayman 2 Forever is worse than Rayman 1 GBC: awkward artwork that almost makes you think it was fanmade (except for one image or two that are cool), there are "skipped" levels, you don't fight Robo-Pirates at all AND there are only two that are boss battles, including the final one (yes, you don't fight Razorbeard).
It is enjoyable but I find it much weaker than R1GBC.

I want to support your reasoning in the sarcastic fact that Windows XP needs to be erased from peoples' stubborn minds, but you were being serious, so that doesn't exactly work.

I hope Rayfan isn't drinking anything lately.
By the way, does anyone here owns Worms Reloaded on STEAM? I also have a 75% coupon discount for Portal 2 on STEAM, but I wonder if there's any member interested on it.
