I want to support your reasoning in the sarcastic fact that Windows XP needs to be erased from peoples' stubborn minds, but you were being serious, so that doesn't exactly work.
The problem with win xp is not much than people still use it at home, but that most companies do. So these comps are still running xp as it was when it was released, with all its flaws (including IE6 for example).

Cool!
Which colour did you get your 3DS?

I'm playing Sonic Rush.
I expected the gameplay to consist exclusively of "hold-right-to-win" action, but it is not so bad!
And the music is awesome! It has a bit of a Sonic CD JP feel to it.
EDIT: I was initially going to play it just for the music, expecting the gameplay to suck, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Sonic Rush?! Oh my god, that game is so badly done... x0x I really didn't like it when I tried out for PC. The steering and the music are the worst. The music is exactly like if you were watching sitcomedies of Disney, or going shopping or even going to a night bar.

Maybe your emulator didn't emulate it correctly, but I think I see what you mean. The physics are slightly annoying at times and maybe there are a few too many bottomless pits, but I don't really mind that, because the funky atmosphere keeps my mood up.
Do you know Sonic CD?
EDIT: A lot in the first paragraph.

I finished Mass Effect 3, and really enjoyed it. I haven't played any of the other games, but after playing this I think I'll check them out.
Maybe it's because I downloaded the Extended Cut of the game, but I did not find the ending quite as bad as everyone seems to be making it out to be. It satisfied me, and I can't ask for more than to be satisfied at the ending.
Mind you, I didn't find the Water Temple from Ocarina of Time as bad as everyone made it out to be, but that's life, I guess.

Haha oh god, I too had that on PC, pretty terrible game in all honesty
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bw2iQGsLLrQ I think the music is both awfully unfitting and cheesy yet catchy at the same time.

Aha. The controls on that game were indeed terrible. The characters controlled like they were cars! Well, okay, Amy was in a car, so in her case it was justified. But she was a bad character anyway.
And the music, while I think it is nice, I agree with your opinion of it being radio-y etc.

Sorry for the confusion, I was really thinking you were playing "R". I only touched it once and sweared nevermore.

It doesn't matter, Haruka!

Rush

Rush always seemed to me like a mix between classic and modern sonic, it has the 2d from classic, and the boosting from modern, how good it is...well, that's up to you.
