Most copies of the PC version of Rayman 1 don't have an intro, that's what he's saying.

Ah, concerning Rayman 1? I think the later releases for PC don't have it, only the original if I remember well.

Yeah, so many people who played it didn't see the intro.

Really? That's odd, I wonder why they'd cut it. Do those copies have an ending cutscene still? I can imagine someone playing it for the first time who has never seen the beginning cutscene getting to the end and being like, "What is this place? Who's talking?"

I don't think they do, I only remember seeing the credits after finishing off Mr Dark

I remember that my Rayman Collector does not own the cinematics.

Guys, I think we should really open leaderboards for RRR, like every member should put a proof like a picture and all tho :p
But you might know it but versions of RRR differs in some minigames, and some minigames are easier to score. Like the minigame with hammer to spam. On PS2 TAS I got at max 230-240m or something like that. On Wii TAS I got like 410 meters lol. If we made one, every score HAS to be proven and leaderboards should be ranked by versions. :mrgreen:

I wonder if Ubisoft still owns the code for that.

Quick reminder that the Rabbids are still aknowledged as canon, but happened to leave to somewhere else.

They appeared as a background decoration in an Easter edition of Rayman Fiesta Run.

@Sergio
Cameo =/= canon

So when Crash was found frozen in Spyro Eternal Night Crash really stayed frozen there forever, or in Spyro A New Beginning DS version where Crash is tied up on stick and being roasted above fire?

Chocolate Rabbid as easter cameo has nothing to do with being canon.

So what about them? You didn't seem to finish the statement. But if it's about Spyro and Crash just having meaningless cameos and have no connection between then, HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN THIS?!

Unless that they appeared as part of a long running sub-franchise that existed at some point... OH, WAIT.

@Sergio
SSJ4 appeared in DB GT and DB GT is not canon.
Just because Rabbids appeared in games that had Rayman's name in title and had him as playable character, does not mean it is canon to main Rayman series which is clearly not the same thing as Rayman Raving Rabbids series.

@Brad
I did finish statement. My point is that just because Crash had cameo inclusion in Spyro games does not mean that Crash's timeline ends with Crash beign tied up to a stick and getting roasted or frozen like he was seen in cameo inclusions from main Spyro games.

I wasn't talking about Crash and Spyro GBA titles but cameo appearences from main titles. GBA titles are spin-offs.

There is no such thing as "canon" when talking about Dragon Ball. So many things and concepts contradict others, the whole canon has its head so far up its own ass that it reached a singularity vortex and altered space and time (ergo : Xenoverse)

As for Rayman, since the story of Raving Rabbits revolves around Rayman, it should be canon.

Raving Rabbids would have been canon if original idea stayed but it was turned into spin-off franchise.

The whole Raving Rabbids thing was a major mess up to the point where the decision to separate Rayman from the Rabbids was made.
Just look at the intros of RRR2 or TV Party. Do they make ANY sense as part of the Rayman universe? Not much. I agree with OCG's statement here. IF it was R4 it'd be canon, but in it's current state it's just a major mess.

I'm fairly certain Rabbids are still canon. Even if their series have split apart, that doesn't mean Rayman Raving Rabbids never happened. The Rabbids were just sent off someplace far, far away. Can Rayman 2 be considered non-canon seeing as a lot of those characters from that game never returned? And what if the Rabbids level did make it into Legends, what then? Hmmmmm?

Im fairly certain that RRR was canon. I wonder if Ancel ever regrets creating them...
