Did Rayman have amnesia in Rayman Revolution?
In Rayman Revolution, Rayman Asks Sssam if he knows where to find the four masks of Polokus.
But at that point, Rayman has already obtained the first mask. Shouldn't he have an idea about where The masks might be hidden?
Or maybe... This is all because of the differences in level designs and scripted events but a lot of things like the "Old Rayman 2 Dialogue" were not changed to suit the game.

While he's obtained the first mask, as far as I can remember, it's not stated that he knows where the rest are. What I want to know is how do the Robo-Pirates know about the masks? It's a secret known only to the Fairies, if I remember the lore correctly. Did they torture that information out of Ly or another fairy? Pretty dark implication.

Torturing fairies wouldn't surprise me. Or maybe just kidnapping the fairies was enough for them to become aware of the information – recall that the
knowledge of the world speaks of stealing dreams…

I was doing some "research" last night
Through process of elimination and relation, Scotland is the only country where Northern lights can be seen and Scottish Thistles grow concurrently.

The Northern lights can only be seen in Scotland up in the Highlands (Rocky mountains)
Rayman Confirmed to live in Scotland lol?

Impressive work you've done there. I, for sure, never would have bothered looking up the real world equivalent of this plant
But I don't get the Northern lights part

That wouldn't surprise me as interviews done to Michel Ancel reveal he took a lot of inspiration from Celtic scenarios and stories to build the Rayman world.

I find that to be a really artistic approach.

Rayman was always a cute character to me so it seemed odd to me when Rayman 3 seemed to try and make him more cool and attitude-like (though the latter was more the advertisements rather than the actual game I guess.)
Thoughts?
Oh, remember when Ubisoft said origins was a prequel and Rayman was an idiot because he was basically just born? That worked out.

Pretty much every series was doing it at the time, though Rayman's was thankfully a lot more tongue-in-cheek. I never thought the characters' attitudes changed the atmosphere of the game too much.
He had a bit of a hip attitude in the first game too, don't forget, though it came off more innocent and goofy.

I'd say that Rayman 3's design had equal amounts of charm and attitude, while his attitude was highlighted more often, I find that the GBA title using this design really brought out his more classical charm, though in fairness, that was based off Rayman 2 anyways.

Rayman 3 GBA was wonderful and I wish we still got games like it.

The R3 GBA incarnation of the traditional 2D Rayman formula is one that I feel could do well if adapted into a Metroidvania sort of game.

If there ever was another Rayman game coming I wonder which is more likely. A 3D game like the 2 and 3? A 2D game like the most recent titles. Or something completely out of the blue. Either way I would be ok with anything!

I feel like if we're going to get anything anytime soon, it'll be another Ubiart game. I would however love to get Rayman 4. Either way I wouldn't complain as long as it's Rayman
