Who fucking cares? Old Rayman was freaking cool. Saying that Rayman Origins isn't a proper sequel to Rayman 3 is like saying that Rayman 1 is not a proper prequel to Rayman 2. Yeah, maybe Rayman Origins is not the most replayable game of the franchise, and yeah... it's 2d, but damn it still was good, and it's currently considered the best 2d platformer of the generation. It was so loved that even non-Rayman fans bought it just because it looked (and was) incredibly fun.

Rayman Origins is more like... uh... Mario? Sonic?... I don't know, the fluidity of the gameplay makes it a completely new experience, but it's clearly different to Rayman 1. You say that because it's 2d.

I agree, Origins is only in the title, not in the gameplay.

I had more fun playing R1 for 7/8 times than the 3 times I've played RO.

I only enjoy Rayman Origins when I play it with someone, and they usually only like the Tricky Treasure levels....
