MIDI. Don't compare it to WAV.

That can be fixed if you low down the music to almost mute.
@First part:
It's not just that. The N64 did a great job, but they took no care in porting it. The MIDI actually sounds like crap on Rayman DS compared to Rayman 2 on the N64.
@Second part:
That sounded so sarcastic I can't fathom....

Sadly it is true about the R3D thing. You need to have the music at more or less 25% to be able to listen well the sound effects.
Now about the MIDI, it is right. I've tried once the N64 version and it sounds way better than in Rayman DS. The speakers of the DS are somewhat problematic.

Indeed, the R2-N64 is way better in music department. Moreover lots of DS games have really nice sequenced music.

I played it on regular ds lite, And it is not as hard on D pad, but the real only Reason i don't like Rayman ds is because it don't have the soundtracks i like, Or voice acting...

Even so, Rayman 3 GBA is more like a Rayman 2 GBA in my opinion.

Yes, I too would like to know where you received this information.
If it is true I have a feeling it would be a classic downloadable.

It wouldn't be surprising if it was for Wii's Virtual Console under the N64 version.

Absolutely no sign of any Ubi game, let alone Rayman 2, being on the VC anytime soon, in fact very few games have even been released on it this year. So either cough up any proper info or quit foolin' us around.

This topic stopped dead when some dude came along and said Rayman 2 was coming on the wii, that is interesting...
Anyway, has anyone seen the Unlimited Flying Barrel trick work in The Tomb Of The Ancients?

Why would we want this anyway? I already have the game on far too many consoles.

If they made a proper re-release with HD and the ability to play Revolution as well as the DC version on any HD console or modern pc, it's a buy for me.

In that case they should add Rayman M and Rayman 3 to that as well.

I'd rather they added a Rayman 1 remake, possibly using the UbiArt framework, the previously mentioned remastered and extended Rayman 2, and Rayman 3.
If they really did do that I think they should do also have a Fan's Collectors Edition with relevant content from past games.
