I think you are right, maybe Rayman is not going to change now consoles and computers allow to design characters with an astonishing accuracy.

I am sure they will continue to develop lots of Rayman games, and I wish they never stopped developing them.

The Rayman games have been bringing in thousands of pounds to Ubisoft, I don't see why they should stop.

One reason why they wouldn't, is that it is a pretty strong series of games bringing in a whole lot of money. I doubt that they would stop. Capcom said Onimusha 3: Demon Siege (Fun game) would be the last in the entire Onimusha series. Nope, they just started calling that the last in the trilogy. (Onimusha 3: Demon Siege is now also on PC, published by Ubisoft!)

Another reason, is that Rayman is Ubisoft's mascot. How many times has a game company let their mascot's game series go?

Ubisoft will make a fifth Rayman game, I'm sure of it.

I heard about it a long time ago... but I have never heard about the one saying that Rayman 5 will never exist.

Though it's only a rumor, meaning it could be false. Ubisoft has said themselves that the Rayman franchise is strong and Rayman is their mascot. They probably won't stop at Rayman: Raving Rabbids.

The interview on Xeiqu's site states that R4 is gona be the last rayman game.

I'm still not going to totally believe this though. Capcom said Onimusha 3 would end the Onimusha series. Now we have Dawn of Dreams. R4 may end the main series, though games will probably be made still.

Yes. Ubisoft wouldn't be as strong if they didn't continue the Rayman series. (And a pretty unhappy fanbase.)
