Eh, wonder if it's an attempt to replicate the Minion's success? Rabbids do follow the same shtick, after all. Mind you, the Rabbids' popularity seems to have dwindled significantly, so I'm curious to see how this turns out.

Notice how you barely hear about them since Travel In Time onwards. Even everytime I returned to France I did notice a significant reduction of stock of Rabbids products to the point last time I went there in 2014 the only things I found were the comics and that's pretty much it.

Rabbids were a novelty that wore off. I honestly don't really mind them anymore, but they're so irrelevant it's crazy. I can't wait for the MySpace movie!

We'll get a Rayman film as soon as they make Rayman 4.
Well that's going to be just a great as that upcoming Angry Birds film. And by great, I mean fucking awful.
And if they're hoping it'll work because of the Minion's success, well then it's too late because everyone's sick of the Minions. And that top comment is right, there are no other characters.

Yes, because that TV series went soooo well.

Please stop losing faith we'll get both eventually. We just need to wait until Just Dance 2021 and Assassin's Creed: Back From The Dead Red.
Was I the only one who like RTAS?

As long as they put Rabbids Go Home music, more specifically "Bubamara" song, I will watch it. But otherwise, no.
As for Rayman film, I believe if they make it with regular cast of characters and not CGI, it would be more successful.

This is from the fucker who says he'd rather have fuckin' Banjo-Kazooie in Smash than Rayman because "Banjo had a better chance", even though Banjo & Kazooie are First Party.

>THEATRICAL ANIMATED FILM

We want the film to be successful, OCG. Not have it bomb at the Box Office. I'm no animation expert, but I can tell you this; TRADITIONALLY ANIMATED THEATRICAL FILMS ARE DEAD. The general public is not interested in them anymore and they don't make money.

I want the Rabbids film to consist of only this song for the entirety of the film with the Rabbids constantly screaming. And I want it to be so loud it makes people's ears bleed. Just think of it as the way to make the perfect Rabbids film.

Never played Rabbids go home, probably never will. I got the games with Rayman in the title, but I have no interest in the Rabbids whatsoever.
They shouldn't make a Rayman film, but perhaps a series of internet shorts?

I've been playing the story mode of RRR for PC and........... yeah. Some minigames are easier in PC but others got harder if we compare with the Wii version. I always found the PC port pointless but Ubi had to maximize chances of selling anyway.
I still feel genuinely sad to see such an ambitious project being radically transformed to a party-game.

I found the concept interesting but too repetitive. I even heard that it is impossible to unlock the very final level due to someone at Ubisoft who messed up in maths/programming I think?

There is no data to back this up, because only one very high-profile traditionally-animated film has released since 2000.

I would argue there's more than one, but I doubt that the mainstream audience remembers good animated films from the 2000's like "The Emperor's New Groove" or "Lilo & Stitch."
In any case I wouldn't say traditionally animated movies are dead Brad, considering how "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F" Made 8.4 Million in North American theaters alone. IMO if an anime movie can sell tickets that well outside of Japan, there's no reason that companies like Disney can't take another shot at 2D animation.

Back in 2009, I wanted to believe that I will see resurrection of 2D animation with The Princess And The Frog. I enjoyed movie very much and I am sad to see Disney not making more movies in same style.
