There is no data to back this up, because only one very high-profile traditionally-animated film has released since 2000.
Not saying that personally, but The Princess and the Frog did way less than what Tangled made. And Winnie the Pooh, Disney's latest Traditionally Animated film, bombed. Also, I did speak with a representative from the Disney Animated Studios and they said it's basically up to the director on whether the film will be in 2D or 3D.

btw guys, forgot to tell ya, there is an unused costume in RRR, it's named Burnt Rayman, I can only show a screen of it as I only managed to make it show for a few frames, but not sure if I gotta post it there or in ULR topic? :/

That's nice! Some of them are actually pretty good.
Oh yeah, today I bought Rayman 3 on GOG.com and I saw that RRR was released, to be honest I can just buy it on steam.

That's nice, though I already have it on dvd and it doesn't seem like GOG has any bonuses like the other Rayman games did (like wallpapers, soundtrack and concept art). It also seems like most issues are still there including the Jade_enr.exe from what I've seen in the forums so far

Seems like the Rabbids are going in the Digital TCG business:

Strange, video removed even though it was uploaded on Ubisoft's official channel. Maybe they're adding a last-minute Rayman cameo.

I gave it a quick try and... it's okay I guess. Reminds me a bit too much of Hearthstone... It's got some Rayman references though, like a card being Rayman's punch with his fist as the image.

Well I guess the only thing we should be thankful for is that ubi are starting to think about rayman and thier older franchises again, we have this and advantures was released not too long ago.

It just dawned on me that it's now been 10 years since RRR came out, it's quite amazing to look back and see how it eventually started a new franchise of its own.

Sometimes I actually reminisce fondly on the Rabbids era. Nostalgia's a funny thing. The games themselves weren't very good, but we got a lot of good stuff out of the series--a cool fan servicy GBA game, a badass intro cutscene from RRR2, some amusing cutscenes from TV Party, the first reference to Betilla the Fairy of all characters in years, and of course Rabbids Go Home which is actually a decent game. I was hoping the Rabbids would continue on the Go Home path, but they quickly relapsed with Travel in Time and now they're just relics of a forgotten time that are barely clinging to their last iota of relevance. At least they're getting a movie, I suppose.

I will stick with the French comic books for now. The books came out from a hiatus last June.
