I wonder how they can fly when they clearly lack wings... They just seem to circle around Begoniax's bog in a dolphin movement.

Stuffed with helium-like gas, probably.

Then how do the platforms in TLS float?

Antigravitational stuff. Ing.

If it was anti-gravitational, how would Rayman be able to fall? And how would they be able to move?

I hate to admit it but I do indeed think it's magic. Well, a mysterious magic that could only be present in Rayman games.

Maybe, but it would work with antigravitation (even magical one):

That doesn't explain how the platforms can move up, down or sideways :P

Maybe the teensies created them to use in the creation of "the hall of doors" and then left them there.
Hell, if they forgot their king im sure they'd forget a few flying platforms.

or maybe they use microscopic strands of string

It explains because of two extra sideway engines on sides and possibility of making power for main stuff smaller or higher.

But the fact that there are mirrors that reflect "invisible" platforms would suggest that the power generated in TLS is simple magic.

There already "invisible coats", based on cameras and screens.

It would make more sense if the platform is magic, not the mirror walls.

They're called paluchards in French, but that's all I know.
