I've never actually seen you draw tbh. I'm kinda curious now what one of your drawings will look like.

Trust me, my drawing skills are hardly there since I kept burning myself out from overthinking when I wanted to practice.

I think this is probably the last one I posted here:
viewtopic.php?p=1338110#p1338110 I think my skills have only atrophied since then

Well, you should get out there and practice some more Plum, I believe in you!

The problem is there's really no place for me to even practise! The only table that's my own in the house has my computer on it!

My drawing skills have kind of regressed a bit but I certainly benefit from being an adult sized iPad kid and draw on it in bed.

Perhaps you could go digital! Use your lap as the table.

I also have tried drawing many years ago and I think I'll just focus on music instead etc.

I do have a Wacom drawing tablet but I've only attempted to use it for actual digital drawing a couple of times

The biggest problem with that really is that my PC is in the kitchen so everyone can see what I'm working on as they walk past

Are you just afraid of what they would think of your artwork?

I guess… It just makes me feel more constrained, less able to experiment…

Ah, fair enough. Though if you don't mind me asking, why don't you have the system in your own room?

Inertia I guess?

Time was, we had a family computer in the living room. Then one day it was moved into the kitchen when I was sick and it was decided that the living room was too cold a place for me to be. Then as I got more and more into self-building / tinkering, it went from being a family computer, to my computerS, then back to just one computer again, still mine

I would have just moved it to my own room, personally.

Oh I know the feeling, I find it hard to make things with people watching. It gets a bit easier if you try to do it anyways, but I prefer surprising people!

I've thought about it, but then I guess having a computer in your bedroom is kinda poor sleep hygiene

I cannot stand people watching over my shoulder, a school friend did that before. Super uncomfortable.

I'm going to watch over Hoodcom's shoulder the next time I see him.

(Kidding)

In fairness, I don't usually get watched over my shoulder, but I'd be on-edge about being asked "what's that?" when it's just a work in progress…
