Amazing drawing. That ly looks like something else I’ve seen, if only I could put my finger on it…

I've always seen Ly as being quite tall & thin, due to her in-game model in Rayman 2, so I suppose I'm leaning towards the 1st drawing more. But both of them are very nicely done!

Here's one you won't have seen before (since I've kept it to myself for the last eleven years :bad:)
TriStar parody, "Tesco: home of the HORSEBURGERS"
TriStar parody, "Tesco: home of the HORSEBURGERS"
:hap:

It wasn't really fair though, since it first came to light at Tesco, but in fact all the supermarket chains turned out to have dodgy supply chains for their burger meat!

Aha, here we go again!

That first Ly is very nice Pirez, I think she's 100% there

Haha.

Yeah I had seen it wasn't just Tesco also, it just seemed to be common that the jokes were about them. I know that Aldi, Lidl, and Dunnes Stores etc. were all affected by this too and had to remove everything from their fridges.

As for the puns, I think that's just bound to happen, but it doesn't mean that I don't find the drawings amazing! :P

I probably wouldn’t have been that phased about horse meat because I don’t really order frozen burgers and I like horse meat

I don't think the problem was the horsemeat per se, it was the fact that it was being packaged as bovine meat. If they didn't even know what animal it came from, how could they be sure it complied with any kind of quality standard??

Wow!!! Is that your original ly drawing on the same paper?

Yes and no.

Yes, it's my original Ly

No, it's not paper. Everything is drawn digitally.

Didn’t realise that. Do you draw with paper sometimes though?

All the time. Most of my drawings start on paper (because I get bored at work, you should see my work notebook) and end up transferred to digital at a later date.

I’ve never done a digital drawing. Is it any easier/funner?

It's definitely more convenient. You can correct any mistake, hide superfluous details are install them back when the time is right, but at the same time it is a big transition to move from a pencil to a digital pen. The feelings shouldn't be that different, but they are.

I acquired my tablet to illustrate a video (the original plan was to re-enact scenes from a movie but different, I however am not popular enough to command a full line of production) and now I do lil drawings on the side. My goal for 2025 is for someone to get a tattoo out of my little flashes.
