There's a drum music on the PS1 that's literally called Rayman's theme!
As for myself in particular...
When the zombie chickens music doesn't give you PTSD.
Screw off with the Zombie Chickens. I hated them in Rayman 3, and I hate them even more in Rayman 2.

Noseless Rayman is a boss in two games and he uses that theme a lot, so it works!
When the Rayman creepypastas don't scare you... Wait, none of them are even scary.

That zone infested with zombie chickens in Rayman 2 was annoying af! I had a really hard time when I played that for the first time.

When you start the game with all your powers intact in Rayman 2.

They gave me nightmares in Rayman 3. In Rayman 2 as a 11/12 year old, DREAD. They didn't give me bad dreams as bad as the ones from R3. It's how they look and the sound they make as they appear on screen.

Same. As a kid, it felt so scary that I felt like the game was haunted or I was stuck in a nightmare. They just made them so jarring!
When the nightmares in the Caves of Bad Dreams are actually enemies having memories of Rayman!

Meh I’m the opposite way, hated them in Rayman 3 because of that track, and merely found them annoying in Tomb of the Ancients. But yeah they can go f*ck off

...What? You're talking about Rayman 1?
*runs away like a wimpy Globox*
When you just beat Rayman 1 again in less than 5 hours, no game over and with no cheat codes, and didn't die a single time against Space Mama or the water section in Eat at Joe's!
(Yeah, I'm totally not bragging right now about my recent Rayman Advance playthrough or anything

I don't understand how you do it, there's some parts that feel brutal to me. Congrats on your great success, you are truly too good at Rayman!

Hehe thanks, I've played Rayman 1 since I was about 3 years old and first beat it on the Saturn at that same age, so you get so familiar with the levels to the point you can easily deal with most things!
But still, definitely a ruthless game if you're not used to it or if you're really not into it at all, some parts are indeed brutal and can be very demanding in terms of reaction time!
So much so that Space Mama and Eat at Joe's warranted two bonus joke videos about the p a i n you can experience in this game, back when I started on YouTube!
Pro tip if you ever try the game again (or maybe even Redemption): punching while jumping does twice as much damage to enemies! Oh, and in Eat at Joe's water section, you can actually punch the saber-toothed fishes, which makes it a lot easier!
When you win the Rayman Board Game, and the other players didn't even get a turn to play!
Skill issue, mates.
