So, Sideways is kidnapped and 'controlled' by Dark Rayman, right? So his eyes are yellow like Dark Rayman's until Dark Rayman is defeated, and Sideways is set free. I really like the idea!

AWESOME MUSIC! I've loved it since I realised it was Hoodoo theme! It's better than the original if you ask me xD
Anyways I wanna say sumthing: The textures in the main area seem too loud.I think a darker colour for grass would be great and a very very light colour for sand would be perfect...Anyways I respect it if you like is as it is now...

That music is the 'knees!! :D
The thing at the end reminded me of the randomness of some of the songs in Origins. Quite a nice touch.

Hey did you find out what notes those 'grunts' are that are in the original version of the Hoodoo theme? I mean the things that sound like they're going 'uh-huh' and can be heard virtually all the time throughout the song. I think I got them quite well, but I'm not too sure so I'd like to cross-reference against someone else's findings.

However, I'll be getting my VSTs soon, and possibly I'll buy a mic myself later - though I was already intending to buy some other stuff later so I'm not sure if I'll want to spend that much in one go. I'll really have to look into that microphone business when I have the time - which is not now as next week my exams start. Actually, this might be the last you'll see of me for a few weeks again (remember, it'll be just like last time).

I hope I won't sound rude but could you point me to one soundtrack that will remind me more of Rayman 2 and not Rayman 3 or 1? or you do not like the Rayman 2 soundtrack...?

If you're patient enough to wait until I bring out one of mine, you'll be happy.

Also, I actually managed to compose something that was also in the Origins Official Soundtrack. Now people will think I copied that, whereas the reality is I never heard the tune before in my life and I came up with it all by myself! Now of course I would have expected someone to also have made it at some point in history - I mean, there are only so many combinations of tones you can use - but of all people to do this, it had to be a bloody composer for the Rayman franchise?! What gives?! No, really, I'm happy I share that same spark of creativity that Rayman composers seem to have. It makes me happy to think alike with UbiSoft and come up with all the same things they already thought of long before I did or simultaneously as I did. I actually made that song back in August 2011, which is quite far into the past now - say four months? I am most certain there is no way I could have come in contact with a bonus track of RO so a subconcious remembrance of the tune is ruled out. It can only have been pure coincidence and sheer luck - or ill luck.

I'd already fixed that a week or two ago I think, I'll take a newer screenshot once I reinstall CryEngine (because I reinstalled Windows).

I've got others, but not as many. The main reason for that is that Rayman 2 had more of an ambient, quiet atmosphere than the rest of the games. I have other tracks that were very heavily Rayman 2 influenced, such as everything in this part of the soundtrack:

Notice the arpeggiating piano in the Penumbra Ocean, sort of relating to Whale Bay's arpeggiating harp.

hey rayfan i have a new idea for a bad guy it's called jute bug. see has a record for a body eyes in the center walking drum hands and moth feet i will try to do some concepts to night :wink:
