Is it the robo-pirate ship? I mean, it shows up in "The Bayou" and "The Precipice"...And you get to fly it around in "The Iron Mountains"...And there always seems to be a flying boat in the other games.

Yes, really! The warships appear in Rayman 2, Origins, and Legends, and Hoodlum airships appear in Rayman 3. (That's where the "in some form" comes into play )
