The gendoors were fun, though I find it unlikely Origins will have them. :(

Me too. We haven't seen anything yet so what's the chance of seeing it later?

Gendoors + multiplayer = craziness, unfortunately.

And do you think that blue and purple Lums will appear? I saw a Lum you could use like a purple lum in the trailer but it was blue O_o

Or sometimes there's this tiny little sparkling on the edge of a cliff - when you hang over the cliff, plop, gendoor.

Anyway, I think RO will be absolutely hilarious and fun with or without gendoors, although they would add to the overall craziness if they were included.

I think I will love Rayman Origins. But I feel like they took too much inspiration of DKCR with the cage locations.

I thought the sparkling Gendoors were extremely rare in most versions of the game. Aren’t they almost always invisible, except in Rayman Advance?

The cage locations remind me of Oddworld, and I love it.

They are more common in the PC version of Rayman 1.

Like the very hidden areas with dropping sand bits almost unoticible? :D

Using gendoors with multiplayer would just be annoying, just imagine when a partner accidentally activates a gendoor and then one of those Darktoons appear in the same place where you are and hurts you unfairily.

Oh, and come on, do you guys really believe that each console has different kinds of teensies? that's ridiculous and pointless! There are like 6 playable characters (Rayman, Globox, Orange Teensie, Black Teensie, Blue Teensie), maybe they are just unlockable characters to give the players more options (like castle crashers).

Why? Do you think that similar elements in games within the same genre is inherently bad? Or do you have some more specific problem with the cage areas?

Exactly – they’re integrated into the levels in the very same way (the character walks straight off the 2D plane, into a dark doorway and steps out on the other side), and these areas even have the same function within the games (you have to defeat the area’s enemies and rescue their prisoners).

Something tells me it won't be a piece of cake finding every cage at once. Probably some will break their heads by frustration of not finding a cage. I might be wrong too, but we'll see when RO comes out.

Oh
I don't think it will be in the game, this was probably just a showcase and ''woo anniversary or w/e'' thing.
Was nice to see Jade there.
