I like Stanley Kubrick. He always was my favourite film director.

OK, lets hope I don't forget. It takes time to achieve new vocabulary. :oops2:

The best way to learn is to use it yourself. Try to make a few sentences with the correct form of the verbs. ;)

So do I. I especially like A Clockwork Orange and 2001: A Space Odyssey.

You reminded me of my single favourite movie of all-time, actually - 2001: A Space Oddysey! I still remember how epic it was... man, I should rewatch it soon.

That's an excellently clear explanation. Incidentally, I was trying to think up one myself before I read yours, and I was having trouble.

One of my 'six' favourite films of all time... I'm trying to see if I can expand upon the awkward six and find four more. Additionally, Kubrick is my favourite live-action director.

Why did this topic arise?

Not necessarily someone else. "The song reminds me of my childhood" is perfectly correct.

But then you could say the song made someone else (i.e. you) recall knowledge from memory.

That's not built into the definition of the word. It's just how it tends to be used. "I remind myself of John" is also grammatically correct, though it rarely crops up in day-to-day speech.

Whoops, I see my mistake now. It's not someone else, it's just someone.

I don't usually post on the game-specific threads, but I recently got an interesting item in my mail (Sorry, large images):

It's a Rayman 1 Interactive Demo disc!
I've heard virtually nothing about this demo existing, so it surprised me when I found it on eBay. Got it for £9 (because Americans seem to like raising their shipping astronomically). I noticed that, when I took the cover out of the case, it was an 8-page booklet! Has some words from Rayman, the story, how to play and tips. It even comes with a $5 off deal on the final game.

Haven't tested the disc, but don't have high hopes for it working. I'll keep you all updated.
EDIT: Image
Uh oh, that's an error I do NOT know how to fix.
