Hmm, if memory serves, the Dreamcast version had the best texture quality from all versions of Rayman 2, I think it'd be nice to see its textures in the PC version.

Wow! Does this mean we can now extract the PC textures? I've always wanted to take a close look at some of those!

Very much so, though those tools were released by a member called MixerX some time ago, so that ability's been a thing for a few months now.
I do recommend you try it, I've been poking around, and I've just discovered that there was a third coloured magic sphere in addition to the orange and blue ones, complete with its own stand too!

Sadly, the textures of Dreamcast can't be converted lol (I didn't even managed to watch them)

Yeah, it's the red one right?

Also, I modified the HUD, it's still pretty crappy, need help

Hmm, I'll give it a shot meself and get back to you as well.
As for the DC issue, I did a bit of quick googling, not got much, but this was somewhat fascinating: http://snesorama.us/board/showthread.ph ... h-TexMod..

Dunno why but this is bad, it isn't what I call a "proper ripping" lol

While I agree, I think it could come handy in obtaining textures that could replace the PC version's.

I might attempt at ripping the Dreamcast versions textures.

I actually thought Lexis himself made it in GMod or something like that.
OCG I had already written to you in another post, stop to call me Lexis, I'm Raymania here.
That image probably came out of something like Garry's Mod, it doesn't really look like anything official to me.
Yes Master, the image who I'm inserted is indeed Garry's Mod. Is not bad how mod.

I am not calling you Lexis to poke fun at you, I simply like that name better than Raymania.

Nice! The Magic Spheres' and Magic Sphere Pedestals' colours were something I thought I'd be innovating in my upcoming game - but it appears not!

Heh and Master, I feel like, instead of getting sad, evil Dark Rayman should get angry red eyes and look deep into the player's soul when he's hurt, as to blame them.

OCG, while I agree, that doesn't mean you should go against Raymania's wishes for you not to call them Lexis.

Hehe, I get ya' Shroob. I'm not very well versed with making such a thing from scratch though (or indeed, from any of these current 'uns). Anyone is more than welcome to come up with a more apt alternative. I've just modified the hues of the original textures.

Anytime, Squiz!

Anyways, while I'm waiting for Wesh's response to my take on the HUD, why don't you folks check it out? I've uploaded the new set as a revision of my original DarkRay texture, you can get it here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6rV8N ... sp=sharing

Nice work, Master!

Do the texture resolutions have to match, or can you import whatever resolution you want (assuming the power of two standard)?
