Reset the poll ? Why ?
Well, I've read many things about Vulkan, and about how it liberates your machine of the heavy tasks by directly communicating with the GPU, it is one of the things that excited me the most about DooM 4, new technologies making tasks lighter powering an astonishing action game.
I actually wonder if a Raspiberry Pi could use Vulkan, I yet have to make researches about it, but I have to admit it would be funny to run that Vulkan port of Quake on a RaspberryPi, I wonder if it would require less energy.

Because all the votes from the previous poll are still there, the only thing that's changed is the title. Unless that's what you want.

I'll let you guys in on a little secret: I actually have a Win10 partition in my PC.
Y'see, just before Record Day I bought the Solus Project on Steam, and only afterwards did I notice that the sysreqs included "Windows 7 64-bit or later" (I know, I'm an idiot. ). The thing wouldn't work on Wine, and the latest Windows versions I had lying around were Vista 64-bit (too old) and 7 32-bit (too… few bits). It seemed my only recourse was to find my father's laptop with Win10 on it (which he hasn't used in ages), image the hard drive and use it in my own PC. The original plan was to just mount the image in a VM, but predictably that didn't cut it in terms of computing power. So I copied the image onto a real hard drive, and after struggling with the UEFI boot stuff for a while, I had (much to my chagrin ) a working Windows 10 installation. This was my first time installing any Windows onto the bare metal of this machine since I built it back in 2014. I've only used the installation four or five times, just to play that game.

Well, I'll give you a warning, do not update with W10 Anniversary Update, it wipes out all non NTFS partitions in order to gain space, and it doesn't warn you, be aware.

Really? Has it happened to you, or did you read about it somewhere? Also, I'm guessing it's only partitions on the same physical disk? If so it doesn't matter to me because my Linux installations are on different disks.

And it is ALL partitions on the same computer, whenever it detects it, it erases...

I already said it on the French forums but others might not be aware of it but, did you know that Windows 10 sends encrypted datas to Microsoft servers every five minutes and on unsecured ports ?

Well, if the data are encrypted anyway I guess it doesn't really matter whether the ports are secure or not.
But, as I said on the French forums, all we have to do is wait five years till someone leaks the private key, just like happened with Secure Boot!

Well, a system with unsecured ports open is a vulnerable system, subsequently, knowing this information 1337 hax0rs could put this information to good use, and infiltrate a computer.
The system is becoming a slicer's paradise.

We're talking routers, CCTV systems and the like for the most part. Yet another reason I despise this "Internet of Things" lark. Do I want a fridge that could end up parttaking in a DDoS attack, or sending spam email? Um, NO!
