What a weirdly fascinating glitch though. I remember when I first got Crysis, my 9800 GTX would at times run into an issue where looking at certain shaders under a lot of stress would cause the graphics driver to soil itself and the game would cease to render, instead simply layering every texture in my field of view onto the viewport and lagging my entire system like mad. It's a completely different issue, but I find it interesting how 3D engines can react to things like not being able to even create a 3D space but not crap out.

Well. I thought I was losing my mind with this glitch.

I am using a PC that was a top-of-the-line gaming rig in 2011. quadcore 3.07 GHZ i7 950, Nvidia GTX 460, 12 GB of RAM, Windows 10. WELL above the minimum or even recommended specs for the game.

I am having this EXACT same problem, except I haven't even had a chance to learn the controls for the game, so I can't possibly do ANYTHING in it unless I just guess the controls and press random buttons.

And I can run Rayman Legends PERFECTLY (both are legit copies from UPlay).

What in the absolute hell IS this glitch? Anybody have any idea what could cause this? It can't possibly be that my computer is too weak to play this game, since Legends runs just fine. Hell, games released in 2015 like Metal Gear Solid V can run on this thing.

There doesn't appear to be a single similarity between my machine and Fifo's machine.

2003 laptop, Pentium M 1.6 GHZ cpu, Radeon Mobility 9000 GPU, 1 GB of Ram, Windows XP...
