Can we not do this again?

What exactly? All I did is state the very possible DLC based on all the evidence. Of course for everything there is always small chance that it doesn't happen but considering Nintendo is taking requests for characters, the fact that Rayman is in top 5 voted characters, and the Tweets that Ubisoft made, it sure looks like they are planning it.

Not a remake, a shitty port. That CLEARLY wasn't even play tested as the game demonstrated various instances of crashes and bugs. I remember I had to start the game all over again as the game contains a fatal bug which doesn't allow you to play The Tower Of Leptys. Luckily I obtained every single trophy with the help of few members, Haruka especially. I was on the leaderboards for quite sometime too, #4 I believe. Probably long gone now but it was fun, despite being a shitty port.
I swear some of the requirements for "100% level completion" are really bizarre. You'd think this would be based on how many jewels you grab, but that's wrong, it's based on the score you get and how well you execute combo-ing. Fuck this was more frustrating than it should've been.

Actually while I'm definitely not sure we're getting Rayman in Smash, he has a very good chance of getting in. First party candidates that in the lead are Chrom, Daisy, King K. Rool, Inkling, and Waluigi. So out of those three, only King K Rool and Inkling have a chance of getting in if going by logical reasons. Third Party candidates that are ahead in Rayman are Banjo-Kazooie, Sora, Bayonetta, and Shantae. But seeing as Banjo-Kazooie are owned by Microsoft and don't have any past games on a Nintendo system now, I doubt it. Sorta has never been on a home Nintendo console. I know Bayonetta's creator doesn't want her in Smash at all. And Shantae... I have no idea what her deal is.
Yeah, I have my hopes for Rayman getting into Smash, but I'm not going to say that he's definitely gonna be in it because you never really know.

Wow Brad, this has to be the most lax post by you in recent weeks.
I'd actually like to see Inkling (both male and female alt.), I get the series is new but I don't see why not. Hm, I also think Rayman does have more of a chance than many other third party characters. It's just the typical "it's happening for sure" mentality that bugs me, as it highers expectations into something that likely won't happen. I don't think Bayonetta would make it in because... well, look at her. I think kids discovering Bayonetta wouldn't make parents happy. Shantae is pretty cool, I'd rather have her than Shovel Knight personally, she actually has character. Shovel Knight was purposely ment to be a cheesy character, while I think Shantae actually has personality.

Maybe someday you'll learn to not see your opnions as the objective truth, and respond with actual arguments instead of arrogant putdowns. Until then, fuck you.
Don't send shit like that my way and expect not to get a response in kind.

Yeah, I said some harsh things, but I was a tad sour yesterday and could have bled into my posts.
Splatoon is worth the hype for me and I would love to see them in Smash as well. It's great advertising as well. Both the Inklings and King K. Rool are my top choices for First Party candidates.
I have no problem with indie characters just as long as long time third party characters get in first. And first party characters do have a higher priority than third party since it is a Nintendo game after all. Having Rayman in Smash would not only make Smash better, but would give the limbless hero a good 20th birthday. I think it'd also make Ancel really happy to seeing as he hinted how he wants to see Rayman in Smash.

How DARE they release that game on a new system so that more people can play it, it's a travesty.
I believe the reason why they are complaining about it is because there are like 7.3 million Rayman 2 ports already. We seriously don't need another one.
I would rather have Rayman 4. In 3D, by Ubisoft. No UbiArt bullshit.

What exactly makes a 3D game more entitled to be called "Rayman 4"?

I doubt it will be any of those unfortunately, as Ubisoft has more lucrative AAA franchises to drag out. But if I had to bet on one from that list it would be BGE2.

I'm sure that's what a lot of people here would ultimately prefer, but factoring in plausibility, a Rayman 2 rerelease would be a much more realistic hope, especially considering that the "UbiArt bullshit" is the creative direction Ancel chose to take the series (and it really wasn't a bad one at all).

Oh, so it's not probably, it's sure we'll see the new Rayman game in March 2016.

To be fair, RRR was never officially called Rayman 4.
