Oh god not this... I can't stand KH, I'm sorry but I tried to like but I simply can't. People can't convince me.

I have yet to play KH but I fear the Disney fanservice will not be enough.

I find it a weird concept, combining all kinds of different things together like that.

Well if you don't like square enix's emotional and confusing story shit, you won't like the kingdom hearts series.

KH1 was great and KH2 was okay but the rest was shit. The music is nice though!
KH3 already looks shit because it isn't made by the original team (it's made by the spinoffs team) because that team is developing FFXV now, which is looking pretty cool.
The story leading up to KH3 also sucks.

We also had a discussion about this in the RL thread a while back.

Well if you think the rest was shit, you're probably missing the story.
The only one that's shit is 358/2 days.

No. I finished all of them and payed close attention to especially the story.
Seriously, you think 7 keyblade wielders going up against 13 Xehanorts can be a good idea (KH3D)? :o
You think Sora randomly going into a computer (Coded) or playing with cards to regain his memories (CoM) was good?
Maybe you are okay with the whole Chi-blade thing? (BBS)
If so, you should try to experience different stories and see what stories are really all about!
Try Okami, Final Fantasy IX, Chrono Trigger, etc. Now those are good games.

Yes, no, no.
Oh and I'd only be able to try them if my parents weren't so damn cheap and didn't just buy anything under 5 pounds.

Nice, really looking forward to this, as Kingdom hearts 2 is my favourite and I've wanted to play BBS for years!

Hm, another remake? Intriguing, still, I like how they're actually taking time out to remake and refine, as opposed to merely port as is the case with plenty of HD remakes.

lets just agree the osaka team is incredibly mediocre and leave it at that. i actually enjoy the original chain of memorys for gba, but i digress. even if KH3 turns out worse than sonic 06's plot i'll still buy it, for closure's sake.

I've actually liked every game I've played, though I found the second game underwhelming. It was too easy, even in Proud Mode (which I played through to begin with). I actually hardly used the Drive Gauge because I never needed it. I kept conserving it in case any difficulty spikes happened, but other than the final boss (which I actually found pretty tough), there were only one or two mandatory parts that were challenging.

I actually quite liked 358/2 Days, the upgrade system was really cool, and it had more platforming than KHII. And I was one of the few who found the story appealing. I know most people found the concept boring, but I found it kind of charming and interesting.

I only ever got to complete Ven's story in BBS, but I really liked that game from what I played.

that's the only one i didn't do, I even played the final story first. ventus just had to rip off not only roxas's looks and opening from kh2, but the part of sora everyone hates, his naivety. he even takes the first beach scene from kh1. Re:Coded was a mess, only good for the last cut-scene and its secret ending. 3D hade the WORST ending in a video game ever, even if the rest was amazing. I can say without a doubt that the original development team made better games than the current retards doing it now.

Ventus is cast the way he is for a reason. His story actually means a lot in the grand scheme of the KH saga.

doesn't mean he isn't a rip-off of two previous characters.

He's not a rip-off when he was born before both characters. The writers already had the prequel story in motion before KHII was even released (hence the secret ending in KHII actually showing Ventus in the flesh).

which storys come first? kh1 in 2002 and kh2 in 2006. bbs wasn't until 2008 at the earliest. therefor ventus is a rip-off.
