Re: The Musicians thread
Do you have one currently?
Re: The Musicians thread
Yes, but it is quite old and has only 2 strings.

Re: The Musicians thread
That would probably hamper your ability to do anything with it. I have a cruddy acoustic, and a new fender student model electric guitar.
Re: The Musicians thread
I am going to get a decent electric guitar, and get a decent amp. I will be getting a good acoustic guitar for my birthday in july too.

Re: The Musicians thread
Nice. I'm probably gonna get a new amp soon, because the one I have now sucks.

Re: The Musicians thread
Peavey. It's a pretty god company, but the amp I have right now isn't very good. I want a marshall amp. They're the best.
Re: The Musicians thread
I king of guessed it was Peavey. My uncle has a peavey amp. It's a big one, about 2 metres high. He used to take it to gigs.

Re: The Musicians thread
Gotcha. You mentioned your grandpa had gigs. What's he do with that?
Re: The Musicians thread
Not my grandad. He can't play instruments to save his life. My unle used to do gigs. I will be doing a gig for college in a couple of weeks. He will be supporting us on his guitar. I will be doing another gig later this year, playing for the whole family at my uncles 60th.

Re: The Musicians thread
Hey! That'll be cool.
Re: The Musicians thread
I think we will be playing for about 300 - 400 people, becuase the whole family will be there and all thier friends will be there too.

Re: The Musicians thread
Isn't that good? Or am i mistaken?
Re: The Musicians thread
It can be. I have live perfermance experience, but it is still nerve racking for the first 20 minutes or so, and then it is fun.
