It's not totally redesigned. They just ported the gamecube version and changed the controls to the Wii standards. The biggest change is the motion sensor aiming option (of course), but even that doesn't work out like it should. In other words, maybe you should still consider getting the gamecube version instead and play it on the Wii.

I will admit, I have a lot of problems with the Wii. There are always problems when the Wii needs to get a signal from the controller, but it never works. This can be a nuisance during some games.

I never said the overall Wii controls are bad, I was talking about the ones from Resident Evil 4. The controls in most other games are working perfectly, like in Rabbids.

I already have the GameCube version, so I guess there's no need to buy the Wii version if there's nothing new.

I have a gamecube now! But with only sonic games....

Well, in that case you should buy a Wii and get even more Sonic games!

Yeah, but all that special content wasn't that special to me. Just a few extra mini games that you can try to finish for a short time. Really, if you have the gamecube or PS2 version of RE4 there's no need to buy another copy for Wii.

True. So Hunch, if you're a hardcore Resident Evil fan, you should buy the Wii, PC, and PS2 versions too!

I think only the gamecube and Wii versions would be required. But solid harcore fans should get it on gamecube, PC, Ps2, and the wii.

I'm not a hardcore fan, I just loved the RE games ^^

I am a semi hardcore fan.

RE games are part of the games that I love.

I like RPG's, Adventure, Racing, and Survival horror
