at the moment we dont know at all! apparently the next ubisoft forward is sometime in september so we'll just have to wait and see. im sure something will come eventually anyway! last forward they got their big stuff outta the way so i think its pretty likely were getting something soon

Yeah, all we can do really is wait. Hope something Rayman related happens in September but I don't have high hopes.

My guess is as good as anyone else's, I really don't know when. Both Rayman and Splinter Cell haven't really had anything too notable since 2013. As far as we're aware though, Ancel is working on BG&E2 still, and while he did make a hint before about "Rayman's fourth adventure" after he's done with it, we're definitely in for a bit of a wait.

2024 is the year I have in my head, but I remember someone also floated the possibility of someone other than Michel doing the next Rayman. Considering how well Rayman 3 turned out, I'd be game for that.

if we get the team behind mario + rabbids god imagine how good would the animation look im obsessed with it
anyway yea id take another rayman 3 situation for the next mainline 3d game! others can be made without needing much of ancels involvement too i believe like more minor spinoffs and im hoping we get that soon

You know, I don't think we've seen Rayman in an RPG game. That would have been really neat if he was in mario & rabbids.

yea we already got farcry and splinter cell references so rayman is the most baffling exclusion considering where the rabbids originated!!! so at least that for the sequel please

Considering how upset Rayman fans got about Rabbids in general before Origins, it's understandable that they didn't want to risk the backlash. IIRC they also cut Rabbids references from one of the UbiArt games.

yea they were going to be in legends but still appeared in adventures. ngl itd be pretty cool if they were also playable in another mainline ubiart game if thats ever gonna be a thing

Maybe 2011 when rabbids 3d came out
But around 2009 i did play RRR on DS
And Rabbids go home on wii...if it was out

Don't really mind the rabbids myself. This is just me but I think people should stop blaming them for "causing the end of Rayman", bc Origins and Legends did come out even after Rabbids was released if I have the timeline right.

Yeah, anyone who still says they "ended" Rayman is probably stuck living in the past, but things were pretty bad back then, and it's difficult to forgive and forget altogether.

I thought that "Rabbids killed Rayman" thing was more of a meme or joke. If this was the case I guess we could have been saying Mario killed Rayman since it's more popular.

Like it's been said before, a Mario and Rayman crossover would be amazing! Now, would it happen? I'm not sure.
