Sorry I'm not that familiar with online forums. I've edited my double posts now, but I can't delete them :S

It's okay! But you didn't have to edit them out, it wouldn't really do a whole lot.
And by the way, you can only delete your posts if no one replied to them.

Not really.

Can you point us to a video walkthrough or something where it can be heard?

If you check out this walkthrough:
https://youtu.be/P8g1SAtQJB0
And go to about 2:04:52
Here you can hear some kind of magical whistle/spooky/wind thing in the background. It is also used many other places in the game. It lasts for a little while. I have also heard it before in other games/songs.. I really want that sound.. Anyone know?? Its used many times in the game!

Hi TheElfe,
I know that Rayman 3 had a lot of custom-made S.E.
You could rip the sound from the game itself. What do you want to use it for?

I wanna use it for some gaming videos maybe. But I only want that whistle/magic sound. As you can hear at that video at that specific time.

Hahaha cool! Funny though!
But I then suppose noone knows what whistle/magic sound is used at that time I asked earlier is from. Heard it in other songs and games as well.

The little chorus Guitar line is just a coincidence I believe, but nice find!
@Elfe, I'm sorry I don't know where it's from :-( but you can look around on
https://www.sound-ideas.com/ and see if they've got anything (I've found many other Rayman sound effects too).

I bought "Percussive Adventures" from eBay and found this loop.
What does it remind you of?

It is very interesting Lorenzo ! It's amazing to see what kind of gear Eric Chevalier used to create whole of the soundtrack of Rayman 2 : "old" samplers, expanders (Roland, Akai...), sounds/SFX library...
I am one of these "music geeks"

I'm interested in finding the guitar sounds from Rayman 1. Remi claimed the guitars were all samples, none of it was played in.

Hi there !
Plume used an Akai MPC4000 to creat beats and samplings in Rayman 3

Source : himself ^^
You can look at
my post in the french forum. There is some informations on Plume and his work with Fred Leonard.
Edit : JadeUndead : I'm impressed of your accuracy ! Did you find other samples or sounds?
