I'm hoping for "The Rayman Company" as a branch of some other company, similar to how "The Pokémon Company" is a branch of Nintendo. Unlikely though.
I wish they did this too. But I guess I shouldn't hold my breath.RibShark wrote:I'm hoping for "The Rayman Company" as a branch of some other company, similar to how "The Pokémon Company" is a branch of Nintendo. Unlikely though.
If you count a character thrown on the backburner and virtually never represented a mascot.Squiz wrote:If Rayman would be bought by a different compagny, it would have to be Wild Sheep Studio. I don't see another compagny that could fit more to Rayman's universe.
But it won't happen. Rayman is Ubisoft's mascot, they will never sell it.

Out of curiosity, what would you like to see for a new Rayman title?OCG wrote:I think the chances for new Rayman title on E3 2016 are about as high as seeing preview of Nintendo NX
I would definitely like to see a remastered Rayman 1, even adding new levels to the game. Although Rayman Classic is probably the closest we're gonna get to a "remake" of Rayman 1.OCG wrote:I would like to see a drastically changed game from Rayman Origins/Legends style of gameplay. I think now with the addition of Adventures, having again similar game on consoles would be a waste and that it would not sell good, resulting more trouble for franchise. For Rayman, these two options are best for future:
- Official HD remastered remake of Rayman 1 with lots of new additions and maybe expanding story
- 3D Rayman game which supports up to 5 player online and offline co-op (5th player assisting others being Murfy). It should be open-world adventure and like no other Rayman game.
A 3D open world game was planned after Rayman Legends... But it has been cancelled in 2013. You can read it in the book "L'Histoire de Rayman", as I talked about it on an other topic a while ago.OCG wrote:I would like to see a drastically changed game from Rayman Origins/Legends style of gameplay. Like Rabbids are doing any better.Kevinrayman15 wrote:The Rabbids have replaced Rayman as their mascot, just accept it.
That sounds like a recipe for disaster. How about just a fully focused single player adventure with an open world?Oldclassicgamer wrote:3D Rayman game which supports up to 5 player online and offline co-op
Definitely. This was the mindset I went in going in to Sony's last year and I was EXTREMELY excited and taken by surprised when Shenmue 3 and Final Fantasy VII remake got announced. Some people seem to have high expectations of Mr. Bandicoot for e3 2016 coming back, they'll very likely be in for disappointment.Serza5 wrote:Go in and expect nothing, and you can either get a pleasant surprise or just nothing which is better than dsiapointment at the least.
Toot, toot all aboard of Snoresville. I think a 4 player (not 5) 3D Platformer would be a great idea.Rayfist wrote:That sounds like a recipe for disaster. How about just a fully focused single player adventure with an open world?
I never did get to play Origins nor Legends with other people, though I do like the games still either way.Bradandez wrote:Yeah, I wouldn't mind single player, but if the devs want to implement multiplayer that suits well with the gameplay, that's fine with me. But it'd great to have the option. I love playing Origins and Legends with others.
