rayman 1 while hard is SO fun ( exept space mama)
Rayman 2 is just gold
Also There is a problem: Peaple just cant accept change, like in swequels or remakes, some ppl just say from 1 little different thing "it isnt the original" which is the worst kind of critisism
People were complaining like that because Origins isn't like the first Rayman. What did they want them to do, use a physics engine from 1995 in 2011 and make the game in 240p? Then you'll be hearing "Origins looks awful the graphics are terrible, the game plays like an ancient game".
Some people just complain way too much. If all the Rayman games were the same then there would be no point even buying another game after Rayman 1. I personally loved Origins and Legends myself but 2 is my favourite one. 3 is a brilliant game too though and Rayman 1 is what I started out playing. Sometimes changes or variation in a game is a good thing but in some games they actually do make the new ones bad. CoD for example, used to love it and hate the new ones but that's different it's basically not even CoD anymore. I don't complain though I just don't play it.
While I know everyone has different opinions on games, they most certainly weren't going to make Origins look like the older first game because why would they?

i fucking love ledgends too, origins was just meh to me, not bad but not what i expected.
I heard so much about R3 HD to saying " It controlls like a game from 2003" where it was FUCKING RELEASED, rayman 3 already has the best controlls of any rayman game imo .

Yeah Rayman 3 has really good controls. That's what I mean also. Say they had changed the engine of Rayman 3 HD to have different controls, then everyone else would complain. People are just never happy

The way I see it with remakes, people complain because the game isn't the same, but if the game was the same people would complain that it was a waste of money because they had the old one.

The whole point of the series to me is for every game to have a different tone, artstyle, and different gameplay. That's how I've always thought sequels should be to some extent, unless they're meant to be a direct continuation of the story.

Yeah I don't think there's anything wrong with different concepts in games. It's good to have a difference unless as you said it's a continued story. In that case it really should be the same.
