Nice work Elite!

I was supposed to do this long time ago, but here are some sketches/ideas for the design of the giant robot with pinchers that is mentioned in the Rayman 2 manual.

Interesting designs, and these are great as usual, good work!

The one with the long hair was an spontaneous idea, part of his arm is missing because of Clark. The other two are supposed to resemble crabs, which fit the sea-pirate theme and also have pincers (like the robot described in the R2 manual). Also, since there are already Gorilla Pirates, I thought it would be fitting to have a model based on another animal.

Smart thinking! This makes me think that I would have liked to see more "sea" pirates in Rayman 2.

Haha, I love those! Glad that my terrible scribbles inspired you to make something much nicer out of them. I'm even thinking, we could probably use them as icons or some community symbol.

And nice pirate models too, very inventive!

A drawing of a cagoulette, inspired by a slapdash (it is not the full body). I think I messed up the position of the arms, since the weapon she is holding is supposed to be behind her neck.

She looks more powerful and cunning than a Slapdash for sure! The arms look all right to me though!

Thanks for the comments! Here is my first attempt to make a sprite/pixel art of a cagoulette, I used a 80 x 80px space, but now I'm thinking that maybe I should have used a bigger one. I also added a zoomed version.

This is great, I hope it gets reused in a fangame one day (if you agree of course).

This looks really good, both the sketch and the sprite! Hope to see more of those.

Thanks for the comment. Yes, hopefully at some point I will be able to create a sprite sheet that others can use (if I can figure how to do the inbetweening).

Thanks for the comment. Here is another sprite, both this one and the previous sprite are based on the designs from Rayman 3 HD. I initially tried to imitate the sprites from Rayman 3 (GBA), but maybe it would be better to do something with less details so it would be easier to animate.
