There is a fair bit when you get a headshot though.

There are gory scenes at the very beginning of RE4, such as the woman with a pitchfork in the head, and the impaled cop burning, but almost none in the rest of the game...

It's pretty gory when you kill Krauser.

I don't call a spring of green blood gory actually :|

Video games or movies with people cut in bits and pieces or disembowelled are gory. Ridiculous springs aren't ^^

I guess some people would class it as gore though.

While I've had time off work, I've gone out to buy the port od Resi4 for the Wii, considering that I palyed on it all the time when I had a GameCube (my favorite character is Dr. Salvador, who most people know as the guy with the chainsaw).

I thought it would be interesting to see what people here think of the game.
I myself love it.

Anyway, shoot (no pun intended).

I'm a big fan of the Resident Evil series, and RE4 is one of the best games I've ever played, yet being totally different from the previous survival-horror episodes. I remember getting all secret weapons, even the Handcannon, which is a pain to unlock :confus:
Awesome graphics, addictive storyline, intuitive gameplay and controls, this is the kind of game you can't help thinking about all day long until you've eventually finished it!
By the way, Dr Salvador rules, but I prefer the one that's in the Mercenaries mode, with a double-bladed chainsaw that can chop your head off in a split second. So, what's your favourite part in the game?
By the way, I suggest reading this topic, we've also talked about RE4 there ;)

Did that really need a new topic?

Evidently, yes.

Why couldn't they just keep talking about it in the topic it started in?

I was about to do it when I noticed that Beebop's topic was a walkthrough, but it's only the beginning of the game so maybe we could eventually merge them :|

Here we go, I've just merged both topics :) By the way, I think I should create a Resident Evil 5 topic :D

The stuff that can happen in RE4 randomized is hilarous:

I didn't know this was even a thing! What's with the vertical viewport of the first video, though? :paranormal:

Did anyone wish for a crossover between Heidi and R4?
